Why do I get a red screen on my chipped PS2, after trying to play a backup of one of my old Playstation CD games, that I cloned using CD CLONE? If the original works in the machine why doesn't my cloned backup?? Help?

What chip you got in ps2?

if it's a magic you need to put disk in, close draw, power off with reset button, power on with reset button,BUT KEEP IT PRESSED FOR SECs. this will put chip in ps1 mode, and should boot.

clone cd works fine for ps2, I have v5 pal ps2 with magic3
