NTSX PSX games on a PAL PS2

When i boot ntsc psx games on my pal ps2 they appear halfway up the screen, pal psx games work fine though, as do ntsc ps2 games, but the ntsc psx games appear wrong

any ideas why and is there a way to fix it?

i use a no soldier mod and ar2 to play btw.

it seems you may have to just convert the game to pal alot of regular ps1 games would do that if it was a ntsc and you were playing it on a pal psx. go pal4u

I've got a pal/ntsc bootdisc that i use on occasion but its a bit of a chore to boot that then boot the ntsc game.
