Need help for PSX roms

Hi guys, I've newly started to play PSX roms, so there is something I want to know. When you download PSX roms there are some of them that have more discs like Final Fantasy VII, there stands Disc1of3. So do, I need to download all 3 discs? I had no problem playing it with 1 disc.
I hope someone enlights me.

Firstly yes, you have to have all the disks for multi-disk games like Metal Gear Solid as they are obviously part of the game, and if you don't have all of them, you cannot obviously play the whole game, and secondly, I wouldn't advise you to mention that you've "downloaded" games, as the PSX-SCENE Forum rules state that you shouldn't talk about warez in one way or another!
