Good to see phorums back.
Anyway a good news for PSX users out there: Allan returned to life and at least decided to open the source of the It Might Be NES emulatior written in ASM.
So anyone with strong skills will be able to improve the emulator, avoiding it's death

This is extremely good news. But we'd all like some more info and downloads. So if you have any URLs to pages with more info on this, please post them.
Of course, the forum software won't let you do that normally, because your post count is too low. But it is easily fooled by writing the URL in different ways, which the software can't recognize, like in this example: "httq;//psx-scene'com/forums/". Then I or another moderator can edit your post, making that garbled URL into a proper one.
Here is the link to the source "preview". It was released under GPL.
i decided to go with the GPL just to make sure that no one can close up the source again now that it's out. i've gotten enough reports of people selling imbNES in stores to make me just a little paranoid on that point. please feel free to grab the package and try building the code with the included script. if you're looking for a simple way to get your feet wet in R3000 assembly, take a look at nes.asm and change the menu font color on line 70. the included readme has some thoughts on the best ways to test your changes.
if no one from the boards catches any horrible mistakes i've made putting this package together, i'll post a notice on the imbNES site in the next few days. it has amazed me that i still get emails from people interested in imbNES after all this time so thank you everybody for sticking with it!
I know these posts are about 4 months old or so.. But has anyone heard any word if anyone else will pick up on this project agian.. To me its one of the high end Emu's out there for PSX & PS2..
Be nice if some one could compile a small .elf file or somthing with this so we could just make a rom.bank and store it in the HDD.. Then just fire up the .elf when needed..
I'm just throwing it out there.. Plus its just a thought.. Im not one for coding anyways..
