So, I recently got a v9, which allows most ps1 backups to be played by the swap method in the browser. I have backed up most of my ps1 collection, and recently dug out my GameShark lite disc. ( I do have a chipped psx grey model, which is how I played backups in the first place ). So, I continued on, read a few threads and tried it myself. I swapped the original psx game I had on hand, for the GameShark lite disc, and wala! It booted! Good, now on to loading the backup MGS1 cd-r. I plugged in a psx mc, that had my old MGS files on it. I proceeded on to selecting my cheats, all but stealth camo and the bandanna, which I already have. So heres the steps.::.

    1: Load GS lite disc.
    2: Select cheats.
3: Hit "Start Game". When it asks you to put in a game disc, in exchange for the GS lite disc, DO NOT PRESS EJECT! VERY IMPORTANT!
4: Open your drive tray like you would with Swap Magic ( I made my own slide card, very easy ).
5: Put in psx cd-r backup, and lock the tray (a little hard, but after a few times, you'll be a pro at it.)
6: PRESS X. Wait a few seconds for the ps2 to boot the disc in the drive, and thats it.

Yep it will work by swapping disk like that..
Only draw back is that some back up disks will stall and stutter if this is done..

    However all will play..
