How to copy PS1 rar files

I recently sent my PS2 to be modded. I'm currently backing up all my classics PS1 games to get ready for it when it arrives. I also downloaded some PS1 .rar files like Strider 2, Einhander..etc and I wanted to know what do I do next to copy these games.
I have a Plextor CD Burner 52X/32/52X
I have the Nero & CDRWIN programs on my computer.
What other programs do I need and what settings Do I use to burn these games??

A .rar file is the file extension of a program called Winrar its just another form of compression like Winzip. You first need to unrar them & the disc image should be inside. You then simply burn the image to a blank disc depending on what format the image is depends on which burning program to use.Personally I would recomend using Alcohol 120% as it can burn most Image formats, CloneCD,Bin & Cue, Nero etc. Best to burn at a slow speed & if using Alcohol there is an option for PS games.
