    hey guys
i recently purchased a non-modified ps1 from an op shop the other day. i wanted to mod it so i could play my backup games so i went to a website called eurasia and bought a mm3 modchip off of them. i got the modchip and tried to solder it on. but i have run into a problem in that the ps1 will now not start at all. the laser and disc will not spin. it appears as if the ps1 is not getting power although the green led is coming on. i have removed the modchip so i dont think it was that and the ps1 did play and start before i tried to install the modchip
thanks in advance for the help
i will do anything you tell me too as i am clueless when it comes to repairing a ps1

do you have a multimeter? have you checked if any voltage is coming out of the PSU ? power may be going in but not coming out. checked the fuses?

Post pictures of the solder install or points, this way we can see if there is a solder bridge.
