    i dropped my ps1 i dunno hich version, but its noth the one with smooth edges. Well, it fell of my shelf a couple of times cuz i accidentally pushed it or a ball hit it and it hit the ground, and it was very high up, and now my disc wont spin when i star my ps1, wat can i do? the laser starts and then the dish spindal thingy spinds like 2-3times and it just stops....wat can i do to fix this...?

    Get a new one. You should be able to get one for less than £15 / $30. Better yet, get a PS2, and play your PS1 games on that.

    yea i have a ps2, but for sum strange reason, i still like keepibng my ps1, and i want a working one too, but dam this thing, it wont read discs n e more

    It's probably easier (and less expensive) to buy a used PS1 rather than trying to fix it if you really want to play your PS1 games on a PS1.

    it's dead... the laser has been mangled..... I've had several over the years take some abuse from the kids... just go get a new one.... I still have a couple of PS1 for playing linked games and back ups.
