Gamesark / Caetla 0.341 problems

about a year or more ago, i found a *WONDERFUL* caetla hack on Code Masters GSCCC site...this lil baby was made for 256k carts, had cheat code functions, *AND* stopped the cd motor automatically

it also worked great

that is until this year....

for some reason, the last 3 gameshark carts i bought that were 256k carts would *NOT* do a proper reflash using the 256k roms....the rom file would work for everything but the cheat codes....if you tried to use th cheat codes, the damned thing would crash. however, you could flash the 128k Roms just fine on the carts and have them work perfectly


how on earth do i make this work right?? should i attempt to reburn the flash cd with the roms on it to see if that is the problem?

what is most strange to me is that i am using thier x-flasher cd to flash these things....*sighs* here's hoping this next thing works

on a side note, i have a damaged Game Hunter v8. x-flasher can't find the hardware to reflash....i had an accident just as the comms link took control of the ps and started flashing....the system fell and the cartridge fell out...ideas anyone?
