I got a "Stealth III 7-wire" modchip that originated from modchipoutlet.com. It did NOT come prewired so I have no idea which color codes go where (http://www.modchipoutlet.com/images/100xnew.jpg). They do not respond to emails either so im out of luck on support.

I have a SPCH-1001 (52pin) and I've also read that only 4 wires are needed for this model since the stealth aspect of the chip wont work. Is this also true?

I have found very little info online about the Stealth III and they almost all lead back to the site it was bought from. Is this another name for another popular chip??

So basically, I'm lost on how to install this correctly.

This is how the pins are numbered with the chip the correct way up and the notch at the top; you only need to wire 1, 5, 6 and 8 for the 1001. If you were sent coloured wires then use them corresponding to the numbers on your link, if you have plain wire then just go by the pin numbers.

Use the picture above to install the chip.
Just follow the numbers, pin 1 is VCC and pin 8 is GND.
The Stealth III seems to have Stealth support for the 1001 series.
