Dual Boot PS1/PS2 CD???
Dual Boot PS1/PS2 CD??? –

Now, this may sound a little silly at first, but, well... whatever.
My wife doesn't really dig any of my PS2 games. Too violent. Too complex. Too much. And so on... She still has a thing for old NES games... Tetris and Bubble Bobble... I've been using It Might Be NES to let her play her old games but it's hard enough for her to remember to hold the power/reset button down for 5 seconds (I have a NH7 Modchip - similar to a Magic 3.1), let alone change the discs... Usually in the tray is a my KeyLauncher boot disc which starts HDLoader from the Memory Card...
After some examination of the SYSTEM.CNF file, it seems possible to make a dual-boot CD... so I just turn on the system for my KeyLoader and she holds it down to get her IMBNES... with no changing of the CD inside...
Does anyone have any ideas...? I tried this file below as a SYSTEM.CNF and it loads KL properly but freezes on a black-screen when booting in PS1 mode... Perhaps there's some sort of order to the commands I should know about?
BOOT=cdrom:\NES.EXE;1
BOOT2=cdrom0:\PS2KL04.ELF;1
VER=1.01
VMODE=NTSC
TCB=4
EVENT=16
STACK=801fff00
If no one has much to contribute, I'll continue to experiment and post here when and if I ever do get it to work...
PS Sorry if the PSX forum isn't the right area to post this question...

this is hard to explain but i had kind of the same problem i have a meesiah mod chip btw. but i installed ps2 keylaunch to the memory card and made the emulator cd my trigger cd so all you would have to do was insert the memory card with ps2 keylaunch on to boot that
