Cutting A Wire Off...

well, i don't know what mod i have, but for some reason it's making my tv output PAL-60 rather than NTSC... i want to fix it by cutting a wire off, if that is the cause, and i want to know if i can successfully fix it by just CUTTING the wire, or if it'll spoil my PSX..
...my PSX is an NTSC J SCPH-7500...

Ok remmove the cristal (dsc00035.jpg) it converts the colour mode to pal Note sayng pal 60 is incorrect it is still ntsc only the coulor logic has changed

if you really want to test it remove the ground whire the white and black one in dsc00037.jpg and also the red whire in dcs00036

i took the crystal off, it's running in NTSC but now the colours are ugly and fuzzy, but when i run it through an NTSC>PAL Convertor, it's just fine, and when i use my Movie card (NTSC Mode) the picture is just fine..
what's wrong?
