    Arrrrrrrr, I was bummed when me PSX Utility disc was a destroyed by me boy and his chums. So on a whim I decided to use yon Playstation One disc that came with me GS2 when I boughts it.

    I booted the GS in the PSX, and held the lid button in. Told the system ta start game w/o codes, swapped the disc ta me copy of MDK, and I was a very happy ta find it loaded just fine. Gotta love them old PSXs eh? It was the old psx, and not that little mini psx that be out now though.

    Like my old SCPH-1000 / JAP.
    Nice unit, my serial number is under 6 million :-)

    But its a pitty the laser detoriates fast, so I need to replace it with a laser from a later model.
    Now my 1000' will be chipped with a homedone, exclusive SOIC-type PIC12C508 ;-)

    No ugly DIP *g*
