That's not possible. You can't burn a boot disc that will work just like you can't burn a PSX backup that will self boot. You can only buy a pressed boot disc.

Ok, no, this is simply not true. It is not possible to burn a boot disc and use it to boot backup on an unmodded PSX. Period. Thoses boot disk image flying around doesn't work.

Techinically you could do a swap trick to get it to boot.

there is a "boot disc" but it is just a copy of the fifa demo disc with the elfs replaced. the menu screen boots, you swap the original wiht the burnt copy. press "start fifa" and the ps2 boots the backup game instead of fifa. except you must swap the disc without the ps2 nowing... so.. that means opening your console.. you half way there, just install a modchip ;D

fyi you can do this with any demo disc which have a menu.just replace the elf of your game, rename the file to the correct name and keep the file at the same LBA of the original

That still sound like a swap trick to me.

I was talking about PSX boot disc all along. You can buy a pressed boot disc that work, but you can't burn a boot disk image that will enable you to boot backup for the exact same reason you can't burn a self-bootable PSX backup. Now, argue all you want but that's that. Pressed boot disc also work on the PSone.
