    Hi,

Do you mind if you tell me how you got it to work on psp?

The copy of vanilla jp Tales of Phantasia I use is good, when I convert it regularly to eboot it works fine.
When I try to convert it to an eboot though, it doesn't want to play on the psp (gives either an "game cannot be played" error or just a black screen).

Did you take any extra steps in making this work or did it just magically work for you?

Well what I did is use deltapatcher_v1.0_win32_bin to patch the iso the one that they said always cause problems even on emulation it was causing slowdown
and I had to use poploader at 4.01 because they decided to change the PS boot logo toslps_017.70_08012013_190944_0187.png

on any pops above you can not change the boot logo so it causes problems

    Thanks for the tip.

I had to do a bit more on my part because for whatever reason just using pops at 4.01 didn't do it.

I had to go get popsloader v4d and paste the two prx files from the dist folder to the seplugin folder.

    Works fine now, thanks.

Found a real fix for PSP running this get a good hex editor I use HxD

open both the original and translated

change back the sony logo to original Licensed by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. on 000024D1

go down to offset 00009312 change back to original PLAYSTATION TALESOFPHANTASIA ........·ù....ù·.................................. .................................."............... ..b.....$......... NAMCO LIMITED NAMCO LIMITED PLAYSTATION

make eboot.pbp of it with favorite converter and it will work on PRO CFW without popsloader with proper boot logo

This may also fix problems with newest PS1 systems as well don't know don't have a modded late release version psx
