Who has a DMS4 Pro for sale

I cannot find any place that sells these chips. I need it shipped to the US. Does anyone have 1 for sale or know of someone that sells them? Thanks.

You don't want any dms4 pro. Trust me. It's garbage.

I used to be an installer and have experience with most chips. I dont think the chip is garbage. Sometimes the installation can be retarded and sensitive, but once its working and you install toxicos i think its an excellent chip. They were the first to do DVD9 support, btw.

Whatever dude. Good luck then! DMS team is pretty much dead. If you find a bootable DMS4 then maybe you should go play the lottery afterwards. There is a known problemo with the flash feature of the chip. It doesn't allow you to flash from factory due to faulty flash chip. So, if you find one then make sure it's USED and already flashed with firmware.

I got one last month from a guy on ioffer, searched for dms. he was selling premodded consoles, I pm'ed him and asked for the chip itself. Just got around to installing it last week. Worked great!! Flashed from CD-R ToxicOS 0.41. With No Problems!!

I have both the CC2.0 and a DMS PRO SE, like them both, I just kinda like modding them. Soldering is calming

really, any possibility of a solderless one will most likely kill your ps2 easily.

It's a true wonder that they haven't killed your systems. I've seen way too many horror stories of it. But could be a cause of why the chip died though.

stick with soldered. higher survival rate.

guys it was a good chip
ive used neo2, neo4, neo4 and origa combo, magic chip, messiah, duo and dms4 pro.

dms had great features and had hdloader built into the firmware(toxicos)
was great untill support died

during the last update they added cheat code support wich i belive increased the size of the firmware.
all older flashes still work great on my dms4 however last one wont work 100%
have to press reset anywere from once to 1000000 times to get it to boot
it either boots or i get a black screen
this wast too common from what i heard but did hear a few others with same problem
ive emailed dms diveno other sellers ect
dms dont reply and thier sellers say they dont make chips now so im SOL
they abandond thier users and shut down forums
no more releases and no support

i have reinstalled the chip 3 times thinking it was a ground issue ect. still same issue, revert to older flash it is fine. was told that some of the eeprom flashes of dms chips were faulty, could hold firmware but may screwup if using a larger firmware using parts of the flash that were bad.

im still looking for a replacement. after this experiance with dms id never buy another one of thier products. however if u want toxicos and play cheatcodes off games on hdd thats your only chip to get. not bad if it works for you. i was prob like 5% of bad chips however they made no attemp to reslove my issue

stay away from those solderless clips, they will fail. too many stories of them coming off ect. just get it soldered or solder yourself if u can.

its def the chip.
btw its the original dms4 pro
rewired 3 times
tested diff chip like m2 in same system and they were fine
ground is fine. even redid many of the wires knowing they were fine anyway.
took to a installer also for second opinion and they concluded was the chip also
dms abandoned thier forums was a few threads on this too
thier sellers and distributers unwilling to do anything
close to 4 years now and no replacement or any response from dms guys.

I told you guys about the dms4 failure rate a few posts back. Now, since those posts from July, there are new cases of people supporting my claims

GARBAGE???
This has been the best chip I have EVER owned. I have one in 3 of my systems. I replaced the DMS3 in one. I have had 8 different chips, of all, the DMS4 is my favorite.

i can quote that i've never had an issues with my dms4 lite, i never got round to downloading there last firmware, but i get stories that the last firmware that people got gave them the RSOD so i never bothered to get it, i've been modding consoles for yrs and never had a problem with both pro and lite version

cheers

yeah but the problem people get is bsod...not rsod. There is a flaw in the flash of the dms4 pro se. I have personally tried to install 2 of them and the same thing happened each time. You are stating something different. What you're referring to can be recitified simply by downgrading back to older f/w. But, everytime you install a bad dms4 se pro it's dead from get go. You can't load any firmware on it. BSOD. or you just go directly to ps2 browser.
