I just bought a new HDTV capable of 1080p... i dOnt know why but my ps1 games wont give image.... only song... any clue ?????

If your TV does not support 480i (which would be odd), then no video will display. PS2 plays everything except progressive scan games (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ith_HD_support) in 480i. Some games can be forced (just as the article states) via holding the Triangle and X buttons down after the PlayStation 2 logo appears. This does NOT apply to PS1 games. Also make sure you are using component cables (and quality shielded ones at that).
