Crystal-Chips.com Site (Offline Version) with CCWiki

Since the Crystal Chip site (www.crystal-chips.com) is no longer online, I decided to put together an offline version for anyone interested in having a copy. I made a partial backup before the site went down and just searched around until I found what I was missing. The parts still missing are two images from the Alcohol firmware burning tutorial and four from the BurnAtOnce tutorial. The only other relatively important image missing, was "dc_0346.jpg", which was a photo of the crystal chip with Actel datecode 0346 (page 12 in the "News" section). I also added 3 additional news pages not on the last version of the crystal chips site, which I got it from the internet archives. They were taken from the original site dated from October 13, 2004 - October 21, 2004.

Since the crystal chips site linked to the crystal chip wiki and vice versa, I decided to include that as part of the download also. I also added the Hardware Tutorial "Trouble Shooting" section to the wiki, which I previously didn't have.

I am uploading this as a two part *.RAR file (meaning you need both files to UnRAR), since it was too big as a single attachment for these forums. If you find anything important that needs to be fixed I missed, please report it here.

Thumbs up

Thank you my friend!

Thanks a'lot my friend.

It is really sad that CC is closed.

The main site does not EVER display to me wright.

The offline version works perfect.

Thanks again.

I don' t know the reasons why they decide to close, but I want to believe that they 'll come back some day (tears fall on the keyboard...). If you know why, then please share it.
The features was more or less common, but the support was up to Ver 15b and the led was a killing-spree for the others.

Only to see the face from the kids that saw the led blink when ever they reset or enter service mode (I put a led on the face of the PS2), or the smile from the sticker that represent a bad-ass chip inside .

The hope dies last....(I hope )
