  • XMBM+ MOD - FIX Package Browser

    Some developers at ps3-tools.de have released a XMBM+ MOD that utilizes a FIX Package Browser which allows you to download game fixes directly to your custom firmware PlayStation 3. In the below link you can find the tutorial on how to get it setup. But do note that XMBM+ version 0.70 is required. After that you can update to MO3's XMBM+ version 0.71. If the FIX Package Browser does not show in XMBM then a PS3 reboot might be needed.


    About XMBM+ MOD - FIX Package Browser:
    The PS3 Tools & TEAM users have prepared something BEAUTIFUL FOR YOU. By chance WE have discovered how the update fixe via the Internet directly from your PS3 and can be stored on it. The PS3 Tools & TEAM users have compiled in ten days MANY PATCHES FOR YOU. This update fixes were uploaded for YOU to the server from maxdata755. So it is now possible to save the update patches DIRECTLY to the PS3 WITHOUT use of a PC. This works ONLY if the desired patches have official UPDATE's available or buildable. With patched updates ORIGINAL DISKS WITHOUT UPDATE FORCED to start. Game EBOOT patches still need to be manually copied to the PC and added to the game. PLEASE continues to provide TESTED YOUR UPDATE FIXES which are NOT available on the server!

      Yes there is, which is why its plastered in the title of this news thread, with a full written guide, read it again!

      Not as funny as your question in a news thread that doesn't mention psn access at all.

      To give you a serious response even though just 2 minutes of your time searching would of revealed the answer, no, cfw users can no longer access psn, ****psn was stopped a little while ago when the passphrase was agsin changed.

      Don't take it personally, but people ask the same question daily, I'm just an end user, certainly no dev, far from it, yet I'm able to find out if psn is accessible with a google search.

      Ok, I need to back track on that now.

      Seems 23 minutes ago news was posted on ps3hax showing how to access psn again.

      Lol, well there you go...

      Sorry I'm on my phone so don't have links etc, somebody feel free to post it as news quoting the source!

      It's true...looks like psn is back for us. Mods should put it in the front page again with the updated information.

      i can confirm this.. i am currently connected to psn!!! now i need to find a way to download the online pass i already have purchased for tt2 and start playing!!! any ideas on how to do cheat sony and download my already paid pass?????

      Don't get too excited about this . It just redirects you to a webpage for manual download on the ps3 . It doesn't detect your games and it doesn't download the fixes for you as I would have thought .

      But he made a nice work, everybody should be able to deal with downloading and installing the correct files i think!
      You can do it better if you want ^^

      @thewhitetyger: yes this is working with DEX too. Some DEX Fixes are online now.

      You can move on like on CEX, once in the directory with the CEX patches got to "parent directory" an there go to the "UPDATEFIX_DEX/" directory.
