  • WIP: C64 Emulator Coming to PS3

    It seems just about anything and everything is getting ported to the PS3. News comes to us, that a dev by the name of AreaScout, has undertaken a project, to port a Commodore 64 emulator to the PS3. Information is limited on this project, however, two screenshots from the project have surfaced and are located below. Expect more information as it becomes available to us.

      Wow.. Nice to see the BASIC commodore 64 interface, man i used to spend hours program that machine when i was 10. Hopefully an AMIGA emulator will appear soon? PS3AE challenge anyone??

      Can't wait for this one, GREAT WORK!!! I still have TONS of Commodore games and equipment as well as the ole Tandy Color Computer stuff. I still mess with the stuff..... Again, great work.

      I started on a 1K ZX81 when I was 7 or so, we dreamed of colour and sound then (and even 38909 bytes available to basic). Oh, and lower case. lol.

      Where's the FUSE port? Access to the many thousands of Spectrum games/apps for free would be nice

      Amiga emulator, definitely doable so it's full speed in the majority of games, demos are another matter, might be worth someone thinking about moving some of the chipset to the SPUs for more precise timing

      As for the Tandy CoCo/Dragon, I ick! loudly in your direction, 6809 based machines? please, Z80 or 6502 all the way!
