WinDos3.1 Beta 2 Released for Custom Firmware v3.41 & v3.55

Its time to celebrate! Developer samson has released WinDos3.1 Beta 2 for both 3.41 and 3.55 firmwares. Its been pre-packed so, its up and ready to be installed. WinDos3.1 is Windows3.1 with a few updates and goodies by samson.

could someone please pack it for 3.55?

and is it a emulator like dosbox or something like linux, that uses some of HDD space?

@ last something to get my teeth into. This is in its own right the 'dogs rod'. going to give this a try, and they say the scene is dead~bollock's to that.

I completly agree. Windows 3.1 was alot of fun back in the early 90's. and that was about it.

Wow thankx it's like a dream come true. I'm just thinking maybe one day we can use the PS3 as a super computer with high graphics. Like even maybe install Windows 7. A Mac Os will be next in line of OSes porting to the PS3 I hope.

How would that be a "unachievable" task?

All you would need to do is set 1-2 SPU's as emulated RAM and you'll have a sweet PC able to run many games, Maybe even be better then what most people have. Well... it will not be a Super Pc like people think But still a useable PC

At best i could see the PS3 running as a
CPU: Dual core 3.2ghz (Maybe better) "Core2..." I7 would be dreaming lol
RAM: 2-4gigs (Emulated RAM)
GPU: Maybe a 256mb nvidia GeForce 7900 or even a 8500 or better Well... maybe lol

I for one would love Win Xp dual booted on my PS3

But that's all guess work, The hard part is making it happen but still it's not "unachievable"
