With LVL0 ours now they know they can't do shit.

So they're gonna use sloppy tactics against the scene now (bricking consoles, strange codes, etc..).

No. Rogero himself said on Tortuga Cove that you must downgrade back to 3.55 and then install the new CFW. You cannot install 4.21CFW over 4.21CFW.

I am on 4.21 CFW, every single game works without having to change the eboot, I can download ANY game update and install it and it works fine, can watch BBC iPlayer in full HD... Why on earth would I want to downgrade to 3.55? If I need to, to install the next CFW then I will do it then... Why the hell do it now when everything works GREAT way better than 3.55?

I am on 4.21 CFW, every single game works without having to change the eboot, I can download ANY game update and install it and it works fine, can watch BBC iPlayer in full HD... Why on earth would I want to downgrade to 3.55? If I need to, to install the next CFW then I will do it then... Why the hell do it now when everything works GREAT way better than 3.55?

Rogero himself has said there are bugs, he is releasing a newer version when its ready.

The version you are running is not rogero's complete work, unfortunately, its a chinese cfw that had the DRM crap removed to allow it to be free for everyone, any bugs are nto rogero's doing, but he is working to find a better release.

I'm not denying some people seem to have a fully working version, Ive read about HHD swap issues, spinning icon issues when exiting games, as well as other issues and of course the bricks.

What I am saying is, if you want a definite stable release without bugs (lets face it, you have no idea of any other errors that may occur yet) you will need to go back to 3.55.

Please tell me where I am so wrong in my previous posts?

Simple. I only use my PS3 to play games and watch movies. It does both flawlessly. There is absolutely no reason for me to go back to 3.55, until I change CFW, which I am not doing right now so there is no need to downgrade.

Its a pointless argument, yours is working, many are not, many will still change to the confirmed stable release when its out, why wouldnt they?

you have nothing more than what 3.55 currently has (that I know of, so I stand corrected if im worng)

both run all games (the newer games are being patched, thats the only difference) both have psn..

Of course ill update to 4.21 when its released again, I see no reason not to, once its confirmed stable.

It has been reported that the newest DEX FW (4.30) bricks CEX consoles.
If you think this is just a coincidence, good for you.

Rogero's fix is complete by the looks of it, he just needs testers who previously bricked, have flashers, and are able to test it again on those machines again..
