I'm pretty n00b myself, but at least I've got some common sense and respect. I read this stuff to learn and keep up on what's going on, and comments like these are pretty tiresome.

Learn linux. Learn scripting. Do some damn research. If you can't be bothered to do that, then have some freakin' patience and let these people work, and the easy-to-install homebrew will be ready when it's ready.

However, some of these stories/articles CAN be a little hard to understand.
People, show some respect to the noobs/tards/idiots/morons/end users (me being one to an extent)
And said noobs/tards/idiots/morons/end users, please, use a little common sense. Read through the comments to see if someone already asked your question. Read the article before asking any questions be they valid or dumb.
And please, please, please, have some patience. If the next news story said "Geohot prefers crunchy Cheetos over puffed!" I would undoubtedly read comments saying, "OMFG i can plae gt5 now ploxx??!?!!?" Food for thought

If anyone says this and expects people to help them get Pirated Games working is a complete douche. Backup Manager for me is just a way to be lazy and not have to change Discs when I want to play a different game. I am more interested in the Homebrew side of things than playing Backed Up games. Bring on the Dreamcast Emulator

Well, I`m waiting for a CFW with back-up manager because my Blu-ray laser lens broke. Bought a new one on eBay, and now I can play only DVD`s (yeey). And now I can`t play any of my ~20 purchased games. So with back-up ability I might be able to play them again.

Are you shitting me? This hack was purely for the kicks AND illegal games/software. That these hackers speak of "We only did it for homebrew, you know?" is simple bullshit. Their way to speak around it.
Their hacks for the Iphone and so on was also for piracy. You can call it Cydia or SIMcard unlocking, its still piracy in right terms. To go around created fences from the big companies.

And your explaination of "backup games"... don't make me laugh. We know better.
