    Waninkoko, announced details for his upcoming custom firmware v2. As you probably already know, the previous version of his firmware caused a serious uproar, as it bricked many user's consoles. Waninkoko has already revealed that he discovered the bug which caused bricking, and it should be fixed in this new release. As well as the bug fix, he announced a few new features for v2.

      Slow day!! This will be very interesting to see if its any better then Kmeaw right now. Can't wait to see if Waninkoko can "Redeem" himself!

      My friend bricked his console with v1 of this. Maybe he should focus his energy on finding a way to fix the problem he caused.

      Maybe YOU should read the note carefully. The bug may be fixed, but that means that it shouldn't brick anymore consoles, NOT that it's going to fix the ones that are bricked. Ever taken an English class?

      This wouldn't be a problem if people didn't use this guy's releases, he does have a bad rep after all.

      Hopefully this will be safer than his last attempt, but I would not go as far to say Waninkoko has a bad rep, in the area of the Wii he is held in very high regards. and has put out some good apps for the PS3 besides he release a statement saying use at your own risk, many people used his CFW with great success...

      maybe if you morons would have stopped installing the damn thing after the first 5 or so reports came in, the bricking would not be in the 100's that it is. I mean seriously. You read its 50/50 and said **** it and tried anyway. Who's at fault here? I bet you wipe your ass back to front. Yup that's it, you brickers have shit stained balls.

      I used it and it worked fine but I am on Kmawe now and that works great. So he'd have to give a big reason to upgrade.

      Not really his fault that it did not work on every system version, I mean how could he possibly test that himself. It's everyone elses's fault for jumping in head first and not seeing what was happening after the first few bricks. There's no excuse for hundreds of bricks.

      I am really looking forward to his homebrew (channel) app though.

      He bricked my machine too. Full Brick. If he can figure out a way to fix this then that would be awesome, but right now I feel like kicking Waninkokos ass for this.

      There is no way I would have ever gone with Waninkoko's v1 until I knew it was damn near 100% safe with my CECHE01 model ps3. I even waited for reports on the Kmeaw of it working fine with no problems on CECHE01 before I jumped the band wagon. I've had absolutely no problems with homebrew nor my backups working so far. I'm sticking with Kmeaw. The only things I'm looking forward to as of right now is NTFS support, external usb drive support for more games (so I can free up space on my internal 80gig drive), and MKV and MK3D support. I hope that for future users this is a stable release and hope no one bricks their ps3 with it. I feel bad that so many tested and bricked their ps3's. It definitely was a risk though that they shouldn't be complaining about since they were already informed that users should only install it at their risk of possibly bricking their consoles; that is if they read the information posted on release. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

      Well there's a 3.55 downgrade now, it uses an LV2Diag.self or whatever it used to use, the original downgrade could unbrick consoles, he should see if the 3.55 one will unbrick his

      "HE" bricked your machine? WHO tried installing the CFW? Now you know who really bricked your machine. It wasn't waninkoko now was it.

      HE did not brick shit. If you don't want your PS3 bricked then don't use CFW as soon as it releases. Waninkoko is not at fault for this, it's the dumbasses that say OMG MUST HAVE and install every damn thing that comes out.

      Take responsibility for your own **** ups and quit blaming shit on the devs. They have tested these things as much as they can with their limited resources.
