VIDEO GUIDE - PSN Access with Rebug 3.55.2 + 0.7 Update

To go along with the recent PSN access enabled by Rebug, PSX-SCENE member TOGxFTW has put together a video guide, and a written tutorial, to help other members get their 3.55 machines running PSN once again using Rebug's Update Package 0.7. If you do not use Rebug CFW, then you can instead apply the 4.11 Version Spoofer 2.2 to your current CFW (certain restrictions apply: No Cobra. No TB v2.6+).

Hey everyone so first there is a video tutorial I have made and a text tutorial below the video.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

TEXT TUTORIAL
Step 1 - To insure you don't get YLOD, make sure you are on 3.55 OFW; download 3.55 OFW here - PS3UPDAT.PUP
Step 2 - Download CFW http://rebug.me/rebug-3-41-2-rebug-3-55-1/ and CFW Update http://rebug.me/rebug-update-package-0-7-3-55-2/
Step 3 - Drag and drop the .PKG File and in the root of your Flash Drive
Step 4 - rename the REBUG_3.55.2_PS3UPDAT.PUP in the .RAR file to PS3UPDAT.PUP
Step 5 - Make A folder called PS3, in the PS3 Folder, make another called Update and drop the .PUP file in there.
Step 6 - Drag and drop the PS3 Folder into the root of your Flash Drive
Step 7 - Safely eject your USB Drive and Plug it into your PS3
Step 8 - Update your PS3 to Rebug CFW 3.55.2 by navigating to Setting/Update/Updating via Storage on your PS3, click X when it says install
Step 9 - Once Install finishes, navigate to Game/Package Manager/Install Package Files/Standard Package Location on the XMB and Install the .PKG
Step 10 - Open up the Rebug Update Package 0.7 under game and Press Enter (X) when prompted
Step 11 - Your PS3 will appear frozen for about 5 seconds. Press (O) when prompted to exit the program.
Step 12 - Navigate to Package Manager/Install Package Files/PS3 Hard Disk and install Rebug Selector 1.6 .PKG
Step 13 - Open up the CexDex Program under game, when it displays GUI, on your controller press L1 + O to go into Rebug mode, confirm this by looking and the setting at top of GUI
Step 14 - Exit the program via PS Button and Sign In!
NOTE: if you get an error signing in, setup your network settings again and try signing back in ^_^

Probably not that particular game. Sony does not want your money, they want complete control over the way you play.

Hi all,
after installing the rebug cfw and 4.11 version spoofer I'm experiencing problems downloading some games from PSN. The error code is 80029780. Do I have just to wait the "unlink" of my account, or could be a spoofing problem?

All i get is this error: 8002A280

Is all that in the tutorial required to install Rebug 3.55.2 + 0.7?
All I did was:
I was running TB 2.7, so I downgraded it to 2.5.1 so it would remove the TB spoof. After that I installed Rebug 3.55.2, then the update 0.7 and PSN is working.

yo, after long time i wanna ask if some1 with 8002a227 error tried PSIDPatch & Chaos Air Bringer 2 log in with banned PS3 since Charles, F*PSN & CTJWTF all need 2 change certificates which aint workin anymore after PSN blackout...

also if there is any volunteer with 2 PS3s can he plz try 2 swap PSIDs of both consoles vice versa so ppl could buy YLOD PS3s 4 PSN at price of TB or less?

was tryin 2 QAflag Rebug 3.55.2 with 0.7 update & end up with black screen

never mind guys i fixed it had to go to debug settings and set np environment to sp-int , now ive got error 8071053d , gonna hard boot my ps3 and see what happens

Set the np environment to "NP". That's what I did and it worked for me. Good luck.

at the last psn access wit the programm charl`s all was ok then i was banned i make a little mistake, and now today i try it with this rebug all works but i dont can sign in iam banned shit

hey does anyone know how to play black ops on psn using this, so it asks me to update but after updating i cant start black ops, is there a fix for it ?

You can go to the XMB, and delete your game data for COD:BO. You can try to edit the param.sfo of the older updates to trick it past the latest version.
