As we reported the other day, Sony has an ongoing legal battle proceeding against Geohot. Earlier tonight, Geohot gave an interview with the gaming channel G4. He explained what caused this legal predicament, what steps he's taking to defend himself, and even teased about plans to hack Sony's upcoming portable system, the PSP2. im for modding and homebrew, but im not for piracy, but i am for people to do so if they want to. hope he is able to get this done so we can mod our systems with out a big void/brick going on our system

i'm ashamed i didn't reconize him at first. This guy is a true hero. As much as i want backups, i respect him so much for fighting piracy with jailbreaking it.

And i personally have a feeling that the DCMA wont be extended to all devices, that would be too controversial. Even if it was close to happening, i believe all the big corporation will shell out the dosh to keep it from being a reality.

Sue the fuk out of Gehot. Hackers say they hacked the PS3 for bringing OtherOS back. But WAIT... didnt Geohot say he found a glitch/bug in the OtherOS so he could hack the PS3 WHILE we still had OtherOS and thus Linux??? This is the reason why Sony removed OtherOS, all because of Geohots "i found haxorz"

Why the fuk won't nobody talk about this? Its always "oh u removed teh linux now we haxz you"

I hope Sony shows no mercy, sue them, ban the people playing GT5 for free while I paid the Signature edition and kill their consoles!

Them and their stupid "incomplete" laws,i like the possibilities that the system has i wont lie,but we all know where all this hacks lead at the end.They should have strict laws about things like that...

And you sir should revise your words...because like geohot there is a lot of people that are not in to piracy but want to run a media player like VLC among other things and they cant...the world is not made of selfish snoty kids like yourself that use their console for gaming only...i have my PS3 jailbroken and i still buy my games...if i use backups? yes but of my own games...

people please stop saying sony's shit and sony will burn etc etc......., for people to say that, you must be morons, were you saying comments like that when you were first purchasing the console.

it takes a group of people to exploit a console. and then all of a suddenly people start hating the people who created the console, why support Sony's product if you bag the people who create it
