Developer NP is back with an update to his Showtime Plugin Pack. There is an updated version of MegaViewer, as well as a new plugin, HD-Trailers. Be sure to check out these latest releases at the bottom of this article, and you can also find a tutorial video on how to install the plugins. As always, all the plugins are available in the Showtime repository.

Welcome to the site, NP, developer of several Showtime Plugins for use on your jailbroken PS3 consoles. He would really appreciate it if we could give him some feedback on his work, so please do. And without any further ado, the official release statement from NP himself:

Notes:
If you have problems using megaupload try the option to convert the links to megavideo,
this is available in the plugin settings.
When using megavideo time limit bypass consider that the server maybe significantly slower,
if you have problems with this go back and click on watch again this will redirect you to another server.

Do you have a specific question? I think the plugins are pretty simple to use, but if you have any problems or doubts just ask.
To clarify things To install you just enter the plugin section (the jigsaw puzzle icon on the home screen) and select "Available plugins".

I just wanted step by step instructions on the software. My ps3 is already jailbreaked.

ok so now you need to install showtime, for this you can search the forum i'm pretty certain you can find a showtime pkg there.
After showtime install, when you run showtime in the first screen (home screen) you should seen a jigsaw puzzle icon on the top right corner click, and select "Available plugins".
This will display a list of available plugins you can install directly for this menu.

also you can install them via showtime... if you download the plugins, then run showtime, find the directory with the .zip files and click on them showtime will ask it you want to install or uninstall them...

but...

What I don't get is how do we login to youtube or megavideo via the plugins...? I can't ever select letters at the enter your name and password prompt....

added a video to the main post that explained how to install the plugins.
As for the input, at the moment you need to have a usb keyboard or some kind of keyboard connected to your ps3.
If necessary I can explain how to input your user name a password directly in the plugin code.

Is there something wrong with megaviewer login??? I type in my user n pass ... But it doesn't login, it always says error... Does anyone else has the same problem?? I can't even watch anything from icefilms =/... Pleaseee help!!!

This is fixed in the version 0.21.
The causes of the problem where the recent changes in the megaupload site.

I downloaded the newest showtime and whenever I go to icefilms in megaviewer and such. I get not supported and cannot find open resource. Nothing ever plays when I select a movie to watch. Any1 get this error? Only ones that work for me is like the game trailers and some movie trailers. No tv shows or full length movies work. I installed all plugins by going to the jigsaw puzzle and available plug ins etc etc.

When I go to ice films, i see the list of movies, i click a movie, then i get the different sources to play it from. I go one by one but none of them work. Everything is updated and I had no other devices running in the background. I'm jealous everyone enjoying this great app but me =*(, plz help, thanks again

The problem u are describing is present in version 0.20 of MegaViewer and it's cause by the megaupload updates.
Redo de install steps and you should see a option to upgrade the plugin, this will solve the problem.

Great that fixed that problem. Now when I click a movie and click a source I get the loading icon. The movie starts but after 5 seconds later it freezes and goes back to the movie information screen. Sorry to be a pest, just want solve the problems I am having with it.

Vman7765: Sorry for the waiting time.
And you are not being a pest, actually feedback its essential to keep this kind of plugin alive.
The problem you are reporting its a weird one and a haven't been able to pinpoint the origin of the problem special because in my case some times it works fine, others I have the same result has you, for example when viewing mkv I dont have this problem.
Anyway In the current version the only way I can guarantee it will work fine is if you use a premium account. Dont worry I have a working alternative and hope to release a new version of megaviewer tomorrow, just needs little more testing.

thanks for your hard work. I actually am happy I am not the only one to experience these problems, because sometimes I feel like its just my luck lol. I'll look out for the update, thanks again.

thanks for your hard support also. The showtime plugins works just great, my favorite show is diggnation i get to watch on the Revision3 plugin. Any chance for a plugin that can get japanese programmning in the future?
