OMG a Wizardry title! Love it love it!I'm pretty happy about the MK Arcade Kollection too. It's supposed to be a perfect translation from the arcade versions and I used to go to real tournaments and win those. Ahhh memories.

Duplex is really kicking butt. I'm confused tho, Wasn't Warhammer and TMNT already released by them? Are these updated versions or just double posts? I've seen an updated pkg for one of the god of war games because of a misplaced music folder. Are these fixes as well?

Piracy??? No I don't see it that way. When you fool around with a 360 console and MS bans it, you STILL have access to your account and content if you get another console. Sony kills your account and all legit items you bought when they ban your console. Duplex is just giving those something back.

Are you sure? I have never heard of anyone who got banned from PSN and then werent able to play their bought PSN games. And how do you access your Xbox Live account if it is banned, if you want to re-download a XBLA game for example?

But this is piracy regardless because Duplex makes an illegal copy of the game and put it online without the permission of the owner. If they only put the crack up, then it would be something different, but they are putting full games up, not just the crack. I agree that it isnt exactly piracy if you download the game as a backup if you already bought it though. But there isnt much doubt that a bigger majority that download these games have and never will buy the games.

That would be great if they did. There is a lot of DLC that I would like to have, but since I can't get on PSN with a custom firmware PS3 I can't buy them. @TheAntiPiracyNuts - yes, I would actually buy some of these PSN games and DLC if I could get on PSN or if they were available in another fashion. Being connected to an online service shouldn't be a prerequisite for ownership of NON-ONLINE games and DLC. If you guys have a problem with this kind of piracy, maybe you should write a letter to Fony and ask them to restore PSN to all owners of a PS3 whether it's on official firmware or custom firmware. I paid my money for the console like everyone else and PSN is featured on the box. I've got custom firmware on my router, iPod, and just about every other piece of electronics that I own. They don't restrict features just because you choose to customize something you've paid for to suit your needs whatever they happen to be. If PSN is restored, then almost all of this kind of piracy will cease to exist. There will always be some people that still do this kind of piracy, but a good portion of the people with custom firmware don't mind paying for a game or a feature if they really like it. Most of us believe in supporting the developers of software that we really enjoy so that we will see more quality products from them in the future. Until you look at all sides of the so-called piracy issue, then please keep your comments to yourselves and stick with the topic at hand. Thank you team Duplex. Keep up the good work and as patz said please work on some of the DLC when you have time.

It never cesses to amaze me why ppl are allways talking about piracy...think nintendo: all consoles are hacked really fast (i wonder if they do care about that?) and yet they still AMAZING sales numbers!

if the game/consoles are good then there will be ppl paying for then, if you simply tell ppl: you have CFW you cant buy anything! then there's only piracy to get your games...wtf do you think ppl will do??

i havent playd anything recently, and the last game i've boght was "The witcher 2", GOG version, i have yet to play the game, but seing a game sold WITHOUT DRM made me want to fork up and pay for it!

What do you mean? I know what cmptrblder ment, but all i did was to point out that these releases are piracy no matter how you see it. If someone only download these games as backups, then i dont think that many care about that, but the releases themself can still be defined as piracy. If you want to do piracy or not, that is a choice that you must decide, i havnt said anything about if people should do or not do piracy, that is their own choice I also havnt said anything about morality or anything like that here.

I'm with you on that. What I don't get is why the anti-piracy people are on a forum dedicated to custom firmware. If you don't like what custom firmware entails, then find a new hobby. I'd be more inclined to listen to what they have to say if they could honestly tell me that they have never downloaded a song to their iPod, watched a bootleg movie, bought a knock-off product from a flea market, etc, etc, etc. Please get off your soap boxes. If you don't like the bootlegs that go along with custom firmware, then update your PS3 to official firmware and delete your account on PSX-Scene. Please stop flooding these threads with the same old tired arguments. I actually have a question relating to these duplex releases. I know that you can convert your disc based games to show an icon on the XMB instead of loading through multiman, but can you make these PSN games act like disc based games so they show up in multiman? I'm asking because I don't like having 2 separate lists of games and the method of making disc based games into xmb icon games puts too much data on your internal hard drive. I have 1 TB internal and 1 TB external. To me it would make more sense to convert these PSN games to disc games so they could easily be moved from internal to external or stored on a PC drive when necessary. This way there would only be one list of games to scroll through which would be a lot easier especially since there is no easy way of organizing your PSN installed games in the XMB. Any thoughts?

Nintendo cared about it, otherwise they wouldnt do counter messures trying to stop piracy. But they werent able to stop the hacking, so in the end Nintendo seemed to have given up on it, at least for the Wii and the DS.

No console manufacturer is obligated to support CFW. It is your choice if you want to use CFW or not. If new original games doesnt work with CFW and you still decide to stay on CFW, then that is your choice.

All these 19 games doesnt have anything to do with Sony by the way, other than being on a Sony console. All the games are developed and published by 3rd parties, not by Sony.

Eventhough that probably 90-95 percent of people pretty much only use CFW for piracy, there are a lot more to CFW than piracy. Homebrew for example.

Are you sure you read all the comments? I saw comments about piracy from cmptrblder, yes159, fernan1234, and fivee before I mentioned it. And I might be wrong but that looks like your name is in that list. This is defeating the purpose of my comment about cluttering these threads to start with with this noise which ultimately is off-topic. I won't comment on the issue again. Hopefully everyone else follows suit
