  • [Update 10]: CFW Eboot & PKG Resigner v1.09 By RazorX

PlayStation 3 Homebrew Developer RazorX who has created various projects such as Ps3UltimateTV, Package Manager [RCO Free] + Web Browser Plus to name a few. Has created and released a new noob friendly CFW Eboot & PSN Resigner. You have an app or game that used to work on 3.55/3.41 CFW and now you have updated to a 4.xx CFW and they no longer work? If that sounds like a problem you have encountered then this may be a great app to help you resign those eboots. For all the details checkout the official release quote by RazorX below.

Hey guys i got a very simple very noob proof app for you i've put together, very simply all you do is put an EBOOT.BIN or PKG into the same folder as the app then launch it and you can select from:

    Main Menu:
    • Eboot Menu
    • Package Menu

    Quick Menu:
    NPDRM
    • 3.55 - 4.30
    • 4.30 - 3.55

    DISC
    • 3.55 - 4.30
    • 4.30 - 3.55

    Eboot Menu
    • CFW 3.40 EBOOT
    • CFW 3.55 EBOOT
    • CFW 3.60 EBOOT
    • CFW 4.20 EBOOT
    • CFW 4.30 EBOOT

    Package Menu:
    • Unpack PKG
    • Repack PKG
    • Create PKG
    • ContentID

    PKG Type:
    • Games/Homebrew
    • Game Data
    • PS1 Game
    • Minis

Then the app will do the rest very simple very easy very fast and an all-in-one application.

    NOTE:
please use the exit on the app rather than hitting the [X] so it can cleanup the temp files and prevent errors.

    Enjoy

    UPDATE 10:
    added quick menu.
set (y) as default on eboot resigner so now you just need to hit enter or type (n) if the content id is wrong.
    neatened up screens.

    UPDATE 5:

a quick note please rename the pkg file you want to alter to something else with no spaces i would recommend something like 1.pkg because the repackaged pkg will be named as the contentid so if there both the same name it will overwrite the original unless your not bothered about that then this doesnt apply to you.

this could be enhanced by using the cmd line version of 7zip, therefore requiring less dependencies

and this is nothing that "TrueAncestor SELF Resigner v1.85" cannot do, I was hoping this app would at least be able to unpack pkg files, resign the eboot, then repackage it as a pkg file. That would actually make my life easier, lol

Anyways, I hope I don't sound ungrateful, it's always nice to see people making contributions, but the cold hard facts is that this tool is not any easier to use than the alternatives that already exist.

Really unrelated to this thread, but multiMAN will do this. (hit psbutton in game then on XMB goto the the Photo column)

Aldostools with the unpkg and make pkg integrated in the windows shell.. Is very useful, i highly recommend that tool set

as i said in the thread i did do that but when i did my anti-virus went bonkers thinking it was infected because it's classed as having a hidden exe inside or something along those lines so it was easier just to say to all of you install it, it's not like 7-zip isn't a great app anyway.

Just don't bundle it inside an exe and it will be fine; trust me, I've battled false positive virus reports plenty of times with my wii app, ModMii. Anyways, if you leave it as is no biggie, but it can be gotten around. If I can do it with a batch file it should be even easier with just about every other programming language out there, lol
