Unofficial True Blue EBOOT Patches - Batman Arkham City and Ace Combat Assault Horizon

News is coming from right here at PSX-Scene that two new unofficial True Blue EBOOT Patches have been released. Some people will be very excited about these releases, considering Batman Arkham City is one of the games that was patched with the release. The other game that was patched is Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.

Remember, These patches are 'unofficial', and Batman only works externally, while Ace Combat only works internally. And lastly, these game fixes require a True Blue v2.5 (compatible?) device.

Let's keep in mind that he was doing us a favor. He can't make new patches and only had these 2. These are not the eboots from the TB discs so it won't do any good to request new patches or ask how he did it. Short answer is he has a debug console that he uses for other things.

So let's just thank him and be glad for what he shared with us. He requested no more messages about how he did it or if something else can be patched

actually he has posted before that he has Resistance 3 (TB) working from HDD

@tthousand - you guys are slow today. I was on top of that last night. Was waiting til I could test Arkham City before I got anybody's hopes up. And YES it does work. Very nice job. Since it was released here first I'd say it was contest worthy, but just my opinion

@BahumatLord, that happens when we have such a huge and productive site like PSX-Scene. It is not the first time I have sourced to other leads, when in fact the news came straight from here. And yes, very good work @Anonymous. Thanks for the patches, and showing that they do not need to come from PARADOX.

@tthousand - it sucks you need a debug console to do them. I'd be willing to send my TB X-Men disc and TB Spider-Man disc to him if he could get them running for other tb owners. Especially since the discs aren't for sale anymore

@atreyu187 - please read my first comment. Please no requests, but from what I understand there may be more soon. Patience is our best bet

What the author of these debug eboot patches can do is share the method required to produce a working TB compatible eboot hack. That would help a lot in understanding how the device works even further.

@brakk3n - he has to some extent. You need a debug console and need to rebuild the eboot and sign it to work for the TB. He has had some success with Red Faction playing on 3.55 but says there is still a key issue for the other games. That's why the TB is still required. He told me his english wasn't that great and is trying his best to explain it. If you check the very first link at the top of the article he does everything but give a step by step
