To begin, rumor has it PB2 has infact a clone of a knock off, or even be working with/as the knock-off(JB-King). TB aka True Blue is already ahead of the rest of the competition by releasing the uncracked 2.62 dongle firmware; not only that, two new teams (BORG and EHRGEIZ) have stepped up and are making EBOOT patches along with PARADOX, specifically designed for the TB.

Now first off, TB has put out a number of warnings to the clone makers and users. Meaning if you purchase a clone, you will have access to less game patches, and possibly have system errors generated by the security features put in place by the TB team.

Secondly, TB has the support of the patch creators, something the knock-offs do not. Hopefully now with the current firmware uncracked, we will see more progress in the release of the patches. The TB team has stated, the recent lack of patches was due to firmware compatibility, and they have provided a solution; meaning they are staying ahead of Sony.

Third, it's Friday night, and that's no time to fight. Time to relax and kick back. How are you spending your weekend? Got some games you are playing? What about the latest mods you have applied or are applying? Working on anything scene related? Getting out and going somewhere, or just catching a good movie or show?

I finished Prototype 2 .
And now i'm player MGS HD Collection , remenber is live hahaahhaa .

Sounds like fun. I have only beat the first MGS. Should I give the others another go?

Same here. Nothing better than playing a super hero without the hassle of actually having to be a hero. You can play through the story or just go on a rampage and destroy anyone and everything in sight. What's better than that?

really considering buying a TB so I can play games like Prototype. I mean really, its a bit like buying a modchip. My only real concern is that they (TB) will release a new version, and I will need to fork out more money for a newer dongle... screw that for a fondle in the dark.

The night is young, everyday is good in hawaii, dont even play games I just enjoy the modding and having options... just enjoy'n the ride... I never really did say Hi to any of you guys, Just' would like to take the time right now to do that and say to all the dev's keep peer'n into the screen and inventing idea's & find ways to create life to those idea's after all you guys are the SOUL of all this SH!T without your brite ideas there would be noth'n... TRUE BLUE is at the top of the leader board 4now... but this has bin a good week for the scene Lata'z ((peace))

Yea ppl bin share some good work this month, and its really cool how this site throws a bone(paypal) to help keep the motivation a momentum movin' in the RIGHT direction.
I dont know if ppl even take note and give you guys over here at psx-scene your credit BUT a BIG THUMBs up.... For all your guys HARD(smart) work, and most of all the steady forward mometum nomater fast or slow you guys here never change. I Personally would like to thank whoever it is that dose this stuff, becuase you keep the blood flowing, and that keeps the life going.. kinna like a pace maker (((BAM))) Lata'z

There is a rich history here at PSX-SCENE, and I don't want to take to much credit but when the site traded owners, I stepped up and helped maintain the tradition and integrity of the site. Since then, I have always been trying to do what is best for the community. Because that is basically what I am, and amalgam of all of my peers here, past present and future. We have a lot of great people here that motivate me and each other, trying to make this the best home for ourselves possible.

I agree, I would rather support a developer any day. When 3.41 came out, I bought my own compatible board and flashed it myself, I did not buy the expensive PSJB. I will admit I did buy a PS3break though and x3max

It's nice to have "teams" who do it all for you, but aren't we here to learn?

Thats really cool to know, and for you it must be fun, after all not many ppl in the whole world can say I motivate Genuis to take place. Starting a ripple and watching it grow and taking shape, and it is saping up nicely!

I love freedom of know how and worthwhile, I love doing the imposable and I like seeing it being done, it really gets the mind going, when somone see's others work and then they replicat it, just one person sharping the other and so forth and so on.... thats good sh!t.... alrigttttt I'll cheack in the bLaZoSpHiRe 2moR0

I'm so glad I made the right choice of buying True Blue I couldn't be more satisfied with their product and as for PS3 gaming Dark Souls is still kicking my butt,I've never played anything as challenging as that.Frustrated but yet I'm loving that game.
