It has been a long time since the last set of updates from team True Blue/Paradox. There was also a complete halt in dongle sales on sites like lilghtake. For several weeks there has been no announcement from Team True Blue themselves until today.

23 - 7 – 2012

The True Blue team will soon be launching an updated version of our dongle, hence our silence and lack of news/updates. The changes include a new style casing to help differentiate clones from the authentic True Blue dongles. The new version dongle will be compatible with EBOOT patches released to date, whilst existing authentic True Blue dongles in the market will continue to be supported in the same firmware releases. You can expect a spate of EBOOT releases shortly after the new version dongle is released. We also plan to include a lot of extra features for our loyal True Blue user base in upcoming firmware releases. which will also function seamlessly on existing authentic True Blue dongles.
We would also like to bring to our potential customers and existing users attention that the website: truebluejb2.cc is selling FAKE dongles. We are in no way associated with them nor will we replace or support their fake dongles.
Information received suggests that they have not yet cloned our new style packaging, so large qty's of devices in the market which do NOT come packed in the packaging detailed below (30-5-2012 news) are most likely fake. We will continue to monitor the situation daily.
The upcoming new firmware releases will also block the clones and help users differentiate fakes from authentic dongles.
Upcoming firmware releases will block these fake devices and furthermore EBOOT's will not support the clones. PB2 and JBking clone devices will also be blocked in the future and will not function correctly with our upcoming features!

The clones sold by truebluejb2.cc can be differentiated by checking the PCB inside the casing using the guide below, as previously posted in news.

Too bad I can't sell portions of patience. I'd be a millionaire, because of the lack of it nowadays on many fronts. I will talk to our ad dept and see if we can market a bubble gum called "Patience". lol

Also, I did not approve how the article writer added his own negative bit on the subject in the article. There is another site that does that, and they are losing readers by the hundreds. Word to the wise, let's not be those guys. Ok? You can still opt to post your own personal views on the subject (like the rest of us) underneath the article as a reply post. Articles are suppose to be unbiased. Just present what you know and that's it.

It wasn't meant to sound negative, just to get people talking about different possibilities of what's going on. And I did start off by saying it was a personal opinion.

There's still a lot of confusion even after reading the statement from TB. I just think a more direct approach would have been received better. It's the not knowing that I think really bothers people

I just think that the article's main information should stand on it's own merits and if the writer wants to toss in their own 2 cents, that they ought to just post it as a separate reply underneath the main article (just like the rest of us). Keeping in mind that if you elect to start the article with your own viewpoint, then you risk setting the mood of how the readers will respond. Which can sometimes lead to a negative effect and backfire.

I know other sites do this and get a negative outcome. Let's not be those guys. Let's present the news without a biased twist, I think in the long run, this will gain us prestige and validity among our peers. At some point you have to agree, that you want to know only the news, and not what some guy thinks about those news. Right? Unless I am the only one that care about this quality?

WOW! Take it easy.. most of us responding here, own one soooooo we do have a right to *share* in somthing that we partake in. Your not wrong BUT he's not wrong for *sharing* and its really cool how he deleted his coment to make peace.. I allso *shared* a negative coment earlier, NEGATIVE is always wrong.. but I dont regret it, becuase we PAY'D 4 it and yes there product dose work as they say it dose, but to bad they dont work as good as there product.. jay-jay I respect your thoughts and it sure is nice that TB is going to start putting US first.. hope u know Im not bash'n them.. im just frustrated I know there good coders/programers, but they NEED to learn custermer service, its sorely lacking on their part just a OpEn LiNe Of CoMuNiCaTiOn would of been nice, Thats all!

I'm okay with anyone sharing their opinion in a reply to an article--as long as it doesn't insult anyone. It just irks me when the article was biased from the get go. That's the only reason why I made the comment earlier. Bahumatlord is a cool guy, no doubt, and I also respect his thoughts. But like I said before, let's leave the personal drama out of the news articles. After the article is posted, then the members can debate it all they want (as long as it's tasteful).

It's cool - Jay-Jay and I have had more than one conversation. I understand where he was coming from. I just see it as a misunderstanding that's been taken care of. It's the internet. That kind of thing is going to happen. It really wasn't meant to sound biased or negative.

Maybe I should make sure I get some coffee in me at 6 am the next time I decide to post something. No hard feelings

by not releasing a new eboots lately doesn't bother me because there's really nothing good out right now to be excited about.I still haven't got chance to play any of the games from their last eboots because I'm still trying very hard to beat Dark Souls.

I agree..I am willing to wait now that there isn't any new games being released..I am satisfied just with the fact that True Blue posted an update, which is all I even wanted from them so I am glad that they did that..Now starts the waiting game for new eboot fixes :-)

who cares anyway, users who already bought their product deserves a continuous support from manufacturer and its their responsibility, but we're talking about Chinese people here so expect the unexpected, sometimes expect the expected.

But for those users who yet to buy the thing, dont waste youre money on it, its thrash, now with DEX there, just buy a progskeet in solderless solution, so quit bitching about you dont know soldering. And it's $20 cheaper than this anyway.

lol...the dex stuff is just a hassle at this point....when they get backups working as simply and flawlessly as the original way...then it will be something worthwhile.

but yeah all the one game per partition crap an needing an update ect....no thanks.....i'll pass...for now.

i mainly just use my ps3 for exclusives anyway.....also have a spare slim.

anyway can't wait for the new tb eboots.

Very happy I won't have to shell out any more money. Also glad to hear that some new releases will be coming out. But I have not seen anything recently that looks to good. I am happy with there releases up to date and hope they will focus on some of the cool games (from the looks of them) they missed, like : R.E. Op. Raccoon City, Ridge Racer Unbound, X-Men Destiny, and a couple others that escape my memory. I am by no means complaining.I have still yet to finish Kingdoms of Amalur with a majority of the quests or even Start Max Payne 3 and a few others, so I don't mind waiting for some quality releases.
