Transfer Skyrim's Save File from PS3 to PC and Back Again!

have you tried pulling the decrypted save file with this method for any other game? It could open up some games to save file modding

useless unless you have a true blue dongle, i cant run this game on cfw, i really wish someone would release a pc save editor like they did for final fantasy xiii-2 but highly unlikely.

What an interesting converter! I am actually playing on PC but there were some games I wished this kind of tool long ago. But I've already managed to beat them. However I may be using it in comparisson purposes. Congratulations!

why would you want to modify a save for a game you cant even play?

PS: note that the extraction of the util.bsd only works on the base skyrim, no 1.2 or 1.4/1.5 custom patch.

i honestly think that the problem of playing skyrim on the ps3 is that you are playing skyrim on a ps3....even if this is the most console dummied down elder scroll it still only shines on a pc

so you are actually presuming that i have a pirate copy of skyrim? Man thats low, no i have a legit copy that i play on my 4.11 ofw ps3, not that i would expect you to afford 2 ps3 s in the first place.

oh well i just though all these kind of modifications assumed you had a CFW, they would need to know how to encrypt/decrypt the savefile so you can attempt to use it on OFW.

so i just tested this, it works fine, its only a bit more troublesome when u have the game updated with either TB update or the modded one, you need to delete the update, get the "save" file, do anything you want on the PC, then load a 1.0 save on the PS3 since you have the base skyrim now,(for me i had to make a new game and play until you get your hands free for the quickload to work), my game was messed up on this point tho, many geometry was missing, but once i did the quickload, saved on a new file, then apply the update/s, the game working fine, then i just saved on new file again, and restored the interface file you change for the quickload to work, game playing fine so far and i got my smithing to 100 like i needed(i would have it on 100 already if it wasnt glitched), now ill see if i can complete my "white phial" quest, the retrieve part, since its glitched and the cauldron on the end of the dungeon doesnt activate, if not ill just have to do this again.

Anyways being on topic this is good and all but certain games are really meant for online.

Skyrim and Dark Souls is one of them

Some people (including myself) don't have a super computer that plays games on it. I understand that people pirate games because I do it myself but some games are really meant for online. And if forking out 60 bucks for a game is what it cost to enjoy it with updates and all then I rather do that than play a game that is utterly useless on a CFW ps3.

Besides nothing beats a hard copy of a game anyway

you do know that Skyrim is a purely offline game right? only thing you get from online are updates, and we got that covered on TB :P (just for this game dont start requesting stuff)

lol idk I heard that you needed updates for certain parts of the game (my buddies play Skyrim) but this save does require you playing the game on a computer then saving right? then transferring again

For darksouls and games like GT5 you need to be online

I left the original message up for a few hours. anybody that saw it saw how ridiculous it was. This is supposed to be a place where people can share ideas freely without the bashing and flame wars. hello I would like to help, I ended up going to a restore default settings on my p3 because of that I am not longer able to access my saves and trophies with my profile on my ps3 I wonder if there is any solution to this problem

Can someone help me please when i put the mods on my ps3 when i put them on and load the game they don't show up when i look at them it's like they are and the name of them shows up but there is now image of them and when i make it nothing is there .. please help
