  • Total_Noob's Upcoming Custom Emulator Firmware (CEF) for Vita

    Total_Noob a well-known Developer in the PSP/PS-Vita scenes has released a new Trailer of his upcoming Custom Emulator Firmware (CEF) for the PS-Vita using the PSP emulator from within. The new CEF will be compatible with all of the v2.02 and below exploits released up to this point for the PS-Vita. No date has been announced for this release, but could occur as early as this month.     Total_Noob has released a more in-depth trailer video of his upcoming CEF (Custom Emulator Firmware) for the PS Vita.

    The brand new video that you can watch below showcases TN-V better than the last one, showing off more features such as changing themes and playing music with the full XMB experience running smoothly on the PS Vita. As we previously announced, TN-V will be compatible with all of the 2.02 and below exploit releases thus far for the Vita; TN-V is not a new exploit itself.

    TN-V is still set to release this month, but nothing specific just yet so check back!

      A vita for what if the guy is show just a custom firmware emulator that it runs PSP Games ?!... Friend it this o can't play PS Vita games , maybe one day who now's , but for now whit this you only run PSP games on PS Vita and vídeo and music nothing else ... Of course it's a good starded but it doesn't wort you buy a Vita just for it if your problem is Money , because you will have basicly the same has you have with your PSP 1000 if you don't wont spend Money on Vita Games ...

      Just can't wait to have the Vita run Emulators. But for now, this sounds good. There are a few PSP games that would be good for this. Just wish could have PSX games running on this. For example having a PSX-PSP type NFL Blitz. Have it on mine, but the Analog Stick is messed up on my PSP so cant do that much anymore no matter how many times I try to replace it.

      I got a Vita originally so I could have all the Metal Gear games in one place and portable. Peace Walker on PSP was awesome and even better on the Vita. TN and ARK allows you to have almost everything [emus] you have on the PSP but with dual sticks, L2/L3, R2/R3 and a bigger screen. VHBL allows most homebrew [emus] without PSP game support. PSX is supported in ARK but no sound [Coldbird left with the sound]. It's good to see Total_Noob decided to come back and continue working TN-V.

      I haven't thanked STLcardsWS for any of the articles yet so thanks a lot.

      Same here, I'm perfectly fine with my PSP. I'm only going to consider the Vita if it gets CFW, or they drop it to like $100
