  • TN-V Will Bring PSN & XMB To Your PS Vita

    Total_Noob has released a video showcasing his latest project for the PS Vita. 6.60 TN-V will be his latest CEF which will allow those, who have not updated their Vita passed firmware 2.02, using the UNO exploit, access to PSN. However due to this CEF using parts of PSP firmware 6.60, you will only have access to the PSP PSN store. The developer also announces a XMB design which I must say looks great. No details regarding a release date yet but Total_Noob does mention that there are allot of bugs and he is strapped for time to work on the project.


    About 6.60 TN-V CEF:
    6.60 TN-V is a Custom Emulator Firmware (CEF) for the PSVita. It offers you the XMB design and the most important feature: the ability to access the PSN - the SOLUTION for 2.02 UNO owners. It is still work in progress. There is no release date. There are quite some bugs and I have only little time to work on that.

      This Is excellent news ( for the ones still on Uno exploit/2.02 fw) ; hope to see more showing up for the Ps vita possibly a CFW similar to PS3 CFW (( One Can only Dream ))

      I wonder if the UNO game is back online now that 2.05 is out and the exploit is patched, if so and you are still on Vita 2.02 you could use the PS3 CFW transfer trick. I confirmed this work with the old 1.81 exploits and well as by purchasing newer games and running them while still on 1.81. The trick is well known.

      1. Sign on PSN with your 4.x CFW PS3 using same account you use on Vita
      2. Purchase your exploit game (UNO in this case)
      3. In Airplane mode and with PC NIC disabled connect to oCMA
      4. Put Vita in CMA mode and pull the plug, don't leave CMA
      5. Connect Vita to CFW PS3
      6. Choose PS3 to Vita transfer on Vita CMA
      7. Find the downloaded UNO game and tranfer.
      8. Go get either the TN or Ark 2.02 UNO pack and transfer to Vita thru PC CMA
      9. Bingo you are now running hacked eCFW on yor Vita.

      Like I said this does work as I already had GC on 1.81 but had purchased Urbanix and didn't get to download it, but later went back with this trick and it worked. I also purchased the Drake Card game which came out after the 2.x update and downloaded it and played it on a 1.81 Vita. If the UNO game is back up and you are on 2.02 this should work for you. There has been news on wololo.net that another exploit has been found so I would expect when the new TN-V is ready to go they will probably at some point release another exploit game. It will be nice to have PSP eCFW on PSN but considering there are hardly any PSP games being played online any more not sure that is really that big of a deal.

      PS....Also if you want to get your 2.02 Vita on PSN you can also do that by setting up something called Charles Proxy on your PC and spoofing your Vita FW revision so PSN thinks it peachy. Check out wololo.net for instructions on how to do that. Should be able to use that trick to get the UNO game as well.

      The Charles Proxy stuff doesnt work for PSN anymore. Can someone confirm 100% that the PS3 CFW trick works? It shouldnt be with just UNO if it works, but with all other exploited games as well (depending on which Vita firmware you're on of course).


      By the way, doesnt eCFW for Vita already have PSN access (besides accessing the PS Store)? I remember playing Resistance Retribution online on a Vita (the official way though, not any hacks) and that worked just fine. I cant see that a updated Vita firmware would block this because when i connected to PSN with Resistance Retribution, it was all done in PSP mode from what i can remember.

      Tryed the ps3 way and ran into error 80029780 couldnt download UNO after bought it..... try activate/deactivate not work try on both ps3 CFW and ps3 OFW
      both wouldnt let me download UNO

      edit: my mistake its work as long as you fix the error 80029780 problem then u be able to download PSP games (UNO) then put exploit in and it works

      Did you get it to work? Or do you mean that if you manage to fix the 80029780 error, then it will work?

      error 80029780 is wont let you download psp games (UNO) to your ps3 (your psvita account) and if you fix that error 80029780 it will let u download it and then put it in your psvita.

      note: with error 80029780 wont let u download psp games or minis but it let u download psvita games what ever in your purchased download list or buy(havent try on buying and download in ps3)
