    Here is a neat trick for those waiting to get their custom firmware PlayStation 3's back online. After the release of the much anticipated FIFA 13 it was not long when a patch was released allowing CFW users the ability to play the game. Developer Evilnat has upped the ante and released an online pass fix. But don't get to excited yet! There are Two downfalls to this news. First been no access to PSN on custom firmware (for the moment, I hope) and the second been that this only works for the US version of the game.


    Guide:
    • Install latest multiMAN
    • Install Blackb0x FTP Server
    • Launch Blackb0x FTP Server (After configuring networkcard)
    • Use Filezilla to transfer files from PC -> PS3 (Eboot Patch included)
    • Inserted random Game-DVD
    • Opened Multiman, click FIFA 13 and in XMB clicked FIFA 13 again
    From here you will need a method to connect to PSN. Lets hope a method will be released soon.

      Have the Duplex version. So can only hope a online pass fix comes out. Or a way is found to get on to the PSN to play. Then i'd just get the american version. Thanks Evilnat.

      nice!!! but how is this possible? maybe we can do this for ttt2 also! are there any more info about this patch?

      Can't they concerntrait on other games? The backlog for games needed to convert to 3.55 is huge and its going to get even longer if they keep wasting time on junk like this, sorry it had to be said, getting fed up of it.

      so instead of moaning about it upgrade you ps3 and buy the games you cant play i have numerous ps3's for onlline play and have the cfw ps3 for the kids so they dont scratch the discs you should be thankful for what you have already dont you think instead of moaning. thanks for this good work.

      it is the blEs online-pass for fifa 12 repacked :/

      If it isn't possible to connect CFW to PSN now, how could the guy who released this have tested that it actually works?

      I assume it was before PSN was blocked from CFW. Or he could have his own method of connecting to PSN. Like the special account that I heard of. Only a handful have those. Can't recall the details.

      there's something being said that like patches are on a halt right now so red power or w/e can be stopped.

      also, bs your kids scratch the discs too bad. they could maybe break them, but there's so many videos of people taking knives to discs and they still work. bluray is awesome in the sense that it's like the most protected mainstream disc created so far.

      Is pass online for FIFA 13, there is nothing of FIFA 12

      This PKG that i made personally for one person who asked me to create and is not tested (i think)

      I didnīt release this in any site because is not tested (repeat, i think), but is in my public account of rghost, like games fixes

      If someone could recompile F***PSN with some modifications:
      Sources of the v0.9 r online.
      In the f**kpsn.rb change ver from 4.21 to 4.25 & "comment out" (with#) or delete or MODIFY the ConsoleID-Spoof-function.
      I tried it but without success. On Ruby in windows.
      I tried it with v193 & rubydns 0.4.0 but appearently I'm not skilled enough.

      The best thing would be, if we can also externalize 3 variables to read from an external file like .ini or .xml:
      1) PLATFORM_VERSION
      2) PLATFORM_PASSPHRASE
      3) consoleid
      In this case, there would be no need to recompile it in future...

      I guess they put all the trust on the client software with no server side authentication.

      maybe you are right... but i think after you input the online pass you get access to encrypted dlc that you install on your ps3 so it would be nice to know what exactly he did!!!??!!?

      if this is directed at me the kids have the cfw ps3 so there is no need for them to touch the discs when psn is running i just transfer my online passes over to the cfw ps3 so there is no need for me but was just saying this was a good release for those that dont have that option.

      That is a possibility indeed.

      The special account stuff is for those who made a PSN account on the developement network right in the begining when the PS3 was hacked (or right in the begining when it was possible to connect to the developement network that is). But i'm not sure how it is possible to use these accounts on a retail PS3 on 3.55 without the correct PSN passphrase. DEX consoles are on newer firmware, but there PSN doesn't work.

      great!!, I think I'll be blind by the time psn returns to cfw due to the too bright colors in fifa 13, does anyone know if you can change that horrible gray from the interface?

      There's been over 100 games made available to 3.55 CFW users over the last month or two - isn't that enough?????

      Analysing Nathan's package I noted:

      1) The package installs on directory BLES01676 ( Fifa 13 EUROPE ) while the DLC online pass is supposed to work on US Version only (BLUS30998)
      So i think a correction needs to be made in his package..

      2) A folder "dlc_Online_Pass_Free" is created in USRDIR.. And a hex of all edat files inside shows BLUS30998 ,which confirms its for US version only.
      Maybe replacing it with BLES01676 can make Euro version compatible also.. A voir..
