Splinter Cell HD PSN by DUPLEX

The Duplex team has released yet another PSN game this one been the Splinter Cell Trilogy. This game includes Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. I have this on PC and really enjoyed playing the previous releases prior to playing Splinter Cell Double Agent on my PS3. Cannot wait for the next instalment of this game.

Only Splinter Cell HD and Splinter Cell Pandora have been released. Still waiting on Chaos Theory PSN - checked multiple sources

Edit: sorry, I see you're waiting too, a little misleading when you say the trilogy's been released

Why is this news?
EXEtrimALL has released so many games now. Over 10 PSN releases yesterday but that isn't news.

I dont think you quite understood that joke. back in the old days you could / can softmod an original xbox with splinter cell. It was THE game to softmod with.

Something worth noting before you run this game every time.

Due to a bug in current CFW's, this game won't run unless you start up
MultiMan once (just start and quit again) before running the game!
Do not update the game to 1.01 or later in case you are getting asked to.

I was curious about the need to run multiman before launching the games. There's been alot of PSN releases that were disc games first. Bulletstorm, Assassin's Creed 1 and 2, Resident Evil 5 Gold, etc, etc. If you gotta load up multiman first on this one, does that mean that this is just the disc game with a new game ID?

Nope they load the same as a PSN game , no need for multiman or anything .

Oh man it's funny because that's the way i used to softmod original xboxs back then yet somehow it totally went over my head XD , my bad i don't want to punch him anymore lol

I think you misunderstood. I know they launch like PSN games. I already have them. In the NFO for these 2 Splinter Cell games, it tells you to launch multiman before launching the games from the XMB because of a glitch. That's what made me think that this was just re-identified games

How would multiman reidentify the game if you don't select it in multiman?

It is just probably where multiman runs the lv2 patch when you first run it on startup, that is probably all it is not a glitch.

Didn't mean multiman re-identifying it. Meant that duplex took the disc game, repacked it and changed ID to the PSN version ID. Probably right about the lv2 patch. It just struck me as odd

Usually you don't need the lv2 patch for PSN games, so it wouldn't surprise me if they are indeed merging the disc and PSN version some how so that you need the lv2 patch. It still isn't a glitch in the CFW though.
