SNES9x PS3 – 4.4.7 Released

Squarepusher, the author of SNES9x, has released version 4.4.7 of his versatile SNES emulator. This update includes new shaders, as well as bug and other fixes.

- Added new shaders (waterpaint-normalcontrast, waterpaint-normalcontrast-scanline,
waterpaint-highcontrast, waterpaint-highcontrast-scanline, crt-highgamma)
- Optimized crt, crt-highgamma shaders - both run now at 60fps at 1920x1080.
- Reduced lag.
- Fixed Turbo Mode toggling - works the same now as in 4.4.4.
- Fixed RSound bug with Windows OSes.
- Fixed L2 button mapping issue.

awesome, just in time!

I'm still waiting on the Dreamcast, Sega CD, PS1 and N64 emulator, any updates on them?

dude..dont..stop!!! dont start that all over agian, after a long time..atleast he has straightened out a bit, don't start that whole fight process all over agian. I know people will think i'm crazy, but change starts with the first step, and he has....erm..yea somewhat going there...give him some time..he'll change, he has changed from before.

Darkshinobi stfu......seriously.......turkish has been mad cool recently and I have understood him more. He supports emulation, just not geohot ballsuckers and ps3 game pirates really from what I understand.

A dream cast emulator would be sick! I wanna play some crazy taxi or power stone with friends.......but **** can only do 2 people on ps3 -.- lame.......OR! support for usb plugin controllers =D

You do know you can reassign the controller all the way up to 7 right?

I get what you're saying, but all it comes down to is controller assigning IFthere is ever a DC emulator.

Say Turkish, why don't you play a DC emulator on the PC in the meantime? I'd recommend getting a DC usb pad for maximum joy. I've got my Snes and NES ones right here + the Dualshock 3 and my cousin's Dualshock 1, feels good man.

just wanna ask you own a hard copy of the game your going to play on the ps3 emu right like say you are going to play final fantasy 3 on the ps3 you have the REAL game from the SNES right if not its still illegal http://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsp#emulator) not trying to start something but a lot of ppl are mislead to think emu is a legal thing and its not unless you own a hard copy of it

Sorry but thats a stupid question as well as "...whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i.e. 24 hours, it is illegal to download and play a Nintendo ROM from the Internet." It does not matter it is always illegal. Taken straight from your link One can say they are just playing homebrew SNES games, correct? Anyone playing any other rom is ILLEGAL! So you too are misled. As well as if you are using this emulator on your ps3, it is currently illegal and in battle, correct? Why ask such a question on this site...do you work for some company? lol

"im not going to lie i do have a few backedup games from friends cause i am not going to pay some outrageous price on ebay for a game that i last seen at the store for more then half the price of what they want on ebay for a used game but when i do find it local and not at a outrageous price i am going to pick it up" Either way illegal is illegal. But whats worse, obtaining roms for hardcopies that are no longer attainable by normal means, shops, or nintendos online wii service, or downloading(or even backing up) current legit games that are in stores now?

Really good new, but i'm still waiting for a PS2 emulator. This is really a greattttt program to ps3, for those who have a new model of ps3. I'm got happy to play my Ps2 games on Ps3, like GT4 ( i not finish them yet) and replay my gow2.

Vamo lá galera. O play3 ainda pode fazer muito mais do que está fazendo.... Quero acesso as jogos da PSN de graça como o wii tem!!!

no the point that i am trying to get out is that ppl spam others for copying games from friends and what not calling them pirates and what not but oh hold on a min there are a few new roms that i need to go get be back in 5 downloading roms is still pirateing dont flame someone for somethng that you are doing just as well in some way and as for what you have on your ps3 i could care less
