Showtime Test Version 4.1.100 Released

Showtime keeps improving and the dedicated developer andoma aka Andreas Öman has been busy at work updating his incredible Showtime Media Center since the 4.0 release that brought us the new look and layout among other features. This is a test version (4.1.100). Below you will see a complete changelog since the 4.0 release. Also deank has compiled a version compatible for multiMAN (4.1.99 dirty) you can find that update below or alternately you can update via multiMAN directly.

Add support for setting custom movie titles directly from the item popup menu

Add an action in settings->general to clear the entire metadb item table.

In principle this make it so that the user can always seek from begining

Thanks Andreas and deank. It's one of my most useful apps I use on my PS3! I use both the stand alone version and also the one inside multiMAN.

If you are like me, and you have your PS3 offline. Make sure to disable the Metadata feature in the settings. I had to do this, because it would cause the app to freeze a bit when surfing for a film on my HDDs (spinning circle). Once I disable all the Metadata providers for video and music, my experience with surfing my videos is not a problem anymore.

I also encountered a bug with TV shows. I have them in their folder "named as the tv show" and each file inside is just named as 01, 02, 03 and etc for each episode. Well, when I had my PS3 online and I surfed those folders, the metadata fetched some movie titles for each episode. I was laughing, because I guess it thinks those tv episodes are movies. lol.
