Showtime Mod by SPT-Team

A group that goes by the name SPT-Team has released a modified variation of Showtime Media Player. This Showtime mod will be mostly helpful to those that are not as technically minded as some. Being noob friendly the mod has all the latest plugins created by resident developer Facanferff, so no need for manual install. Other changes include custom icon and music intro.

Please Note: This modified version of Showtime Media Player has not been tested by psx-scene. This is an unofficial release of Showtime Media Player so bugs and crashes are a possibility. psx-scene is not responsible for any issues you may incur.

Not sure about 3.41. Try it and see, at worst you will need to delete it and/or overwrite it with your previous version.

I don't see where this is considered a mod more like a combo pack & what's up with (Thx redsquirrel87 for homebrew) andoma omen is the coder right?

that icon is really bad but other then that nice and hell yea we need mp4 support

Yes it hasm by the way Youtube uses it and works, Channel9 too what happens is when a video has too many levels it is unaplayable on ps3...

Hi all, I made this mod version for easy installation of plugin for Dummies with an FTP server. the icon is no point in paas much anyway. Showtime MoD is based on the last unofficial version released by redsquirrel87 and this is why I thank him even if it is not him the original encoder. This is not the purpose of talking about me and evil and more! I simply wanted to facilitate its use.

wasn't trying to talk evil of you this is a great pkg for noobs, I was just trying to stipulate that you should have thanked Adoma for the homebrew as all redsquirrel87 has done was compiled his git (source, work)

cannot install. says the same version is installed and wont let me install anyway. I do not have any showtime on my installed package drop down in the games sections where everything else that gets installed shows up. and i couldn't find a folder with Showtime or anything similar in the games folder to deleted via ftp. Can someone tell me how to install or deleted what showtime i might have installed somewhere in the background?

Should overwrite your old version and then delete the version that you have already installed. Showtime is in the column the menu ps3 XMB
