  • SELF/SPRX Decrypter v0.6 BETA Source Code + PKG

A blast from the past, Heden aka DeLiGhT’2012 is back with his highly requested source code for SELF_SPRX Decrypter v0.6 BETA. This tool is mainly for developers, and I have taken the liberty to include the README and HOWTO for this release. Also, for those interested I have included a download containing both the source code and the install-able PKG to get you started right away.

    README:
    Code:

                        .__.[SIRIaX!]

    	              SELF/SPRX DECRYPTER SOURCES - V0.6 BETA
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    	SELF/SPRX DECRYPTER SOURCES

    	12/04/10 - V0.5B - Initial BETA Release
    		- Decrypting internal PS3's SELF/SPRX files
[BETA - The decrypter hangs on some files]

    	12/12/10 - V0.6B - Second BETA Release
    		- More stability (no hangs anymore)
    		- Much more files can now be decrypted

GameOS utilizes files to make the console work (I won't give details)
These files (SELF = EXE, SPRX = DLL) are stored in /dev_flash
This tool enables to decrypt these SELF/SPRX files
Such a decrypter will only help people who know what they do ;-)
The application is not yet capable to decrypt all files (coming soon !)

Some devs asked for the sources. I decided to release them.
This tool may help to decrypt system files on DEX consoles ;-)

    	SELF/SPRX DECRYPTER

    	12/04/10 - V0.5B - Initial BETA Release
    		- Decrypting internal PS3's SELF/SPRX files
[BETA - The decrypter hangs on some files]

Such a decrypter will only help people who know what they do ;-)
The application is not yet capable to decrypt all files (coming soon !)

    	Howto :
    		First, uninstall previous version
Install the .PKG provided in the archive

    		- Put the file you want to decrypt into :
    			/dev_hdd0/game/DCRY00001/USRDIR/SOURCE/
    		- Launch the decrypter
    		- Get the decrypted files from :
    			/dev_hdd0/game/DCRY00001/USRDIR/DESTINATION/

The current version decrypts only one file per launch
Make sure to have only one SELF/SPRX file in /SOURCE/ directory

This decrypter does not use the grafchokolo's payload nor HV syscalls

Greetings fly out to (no order):
    		- Rupan (nice works dude !)
    		- LBDT69 (we should use your works soon)
    		- Grafchokolo (thanx for all your answers !)
    		- PS3mrenigma (always nice to chat with you)
    		- Team Blackb0x

Team DeLiGhT is looking for talented artists (we need logos & ASCII arts)
    	Interested ?
Please send us some of your works !

"I have taken to liberty to include to README" should be "I have taken the liberty to include the README"

Not really. Just weird to see a article in English written that way. But at least this site isn't as bad as ps3hax where a lot of their articles look like they were translated using Google.

I didn't mean the correction in a negative way. Everyone makes grammar and spelling mistakes sometimes I was just saying in case he wanted to edit it is all.

Thank you. I tend to make that mistake sometimes and need to get out of the habit.
