Rogero Manager 8.0 Released - Syscall 36 Implemented

Rogero has updated his self-titled manager, Rogero Manager, to version 8.0. The latest version does away with LV2_Patcher/PL3 payload, and now uses (multiMAN author) Dean's implementation of Syscall 36. In addition to Syscall 36, a flood of other new features and fixes have arrived, which can all be viewed below.

8.0.0 - This version is Compatible with OFW3.41+Dongle/Hermes CFW3.41/CFW3.55/Kmeaw/Waninkoko.
8.0.0 - Changed from using LV2_patcher/PL3 to Dean's implementation of Syscall36.
8.0.0 - The Manager can be started with Disc In + USB inserted without any problems.
8.0.0 - Updated the Payload Auto-Detection to support all types of Payloads/CFWs.
8.0.0 - Fixed the FTP Server, FTP always on by default, login as "anonymous".
8.0.0 - Added Auto-Fix Permissions on Game Load, can be Enabled/Disabled from Settings Menu.
8.0.0 - Fixed the scrolling lag on D-pad Up/Down, now scrolling with any button is fluid.
8.0.0 - "Protected Mode" now can be Enabled/Disabled by pressing [L2+R2+R3] from the Menu.
8.0.0 - Added the option to Enable/Disable the Clean History function from Settings Menu.
8.0.0 - Optimized the Fix-Permissions function,now it outputs the path of the folder being fixed.
8.0.0 - Added Full Auto-Detection of the Games folder at initial Setup or from Settings Menu.
8.0.0 - The Games folder will be moved automatically to a safer path if found necessary.
8.0.0 - Fixed the Copy function to prevent the Abort-Copy error that was encountered by some users.
8.0.0 - Added A Screensaver after 3 minutes of inactivity,can be Enabled/Disabled from Settings.
8.0.0 - Simplified the Initial Setup wizard,select [Yes] on all steps for default settings.

Can this be updated through the PS3 like multiman? Or do I need to throw this on a flash drive and copy to ps3?

on a different note can anyone make a ftp client and something like ctorrent, i know theres a ctorrentpsp so i guess it wont be that different thanks.

I have experienced nothing but success with rogero so far (Unless you consider the times that my inebriation had overtaken my cognition). I will go ahead and try out the new syscall you have implemented. Thanks again! Separate subject...please dont quote this either...I am super excited to see what Graf_Chokolo has in store for us!!! Long live CFWs and OtherOS!

Things look probable. Also, there is a 3.41 version included in the .rar

Does not really matter anymore (since introduction of 3.56). And as long as there is no Stealth CFW I would stay offline all the time.

Will this work on wutangs custom firmware? Wutangs is suppose to be better than Waninkoko from what I've heard. And I was having weird freezes on Waninko's firmware every so often but 0 on wutangs.

I dont think so Achilles... I just tried it. Wutangs is sooo much better too. Dunno why he didn't do it for that CFW? Anyone Else had a try with Wutangrzas CFW??

For some reason some of the new apps don't work on Wutangerza, I can not get the Multiman 15.01 working either hopefully we can get support fir this

I use wutangrza + geohot too and this update doesn't work for some reason. Version 7.9 works flawlessly, though. This is because wutangs cfw is strictly LV2 and not syscall compatible. At least that's what I think.

Wow. Even wutang himself said to go to kmeaw's cfw, which is supported. Kmeaw's cfw uses wutang's cfw and bypasses the signatures so geohot's patch isn't needed anymore. Wutang's and kmeaw's are the same firmware in every other aspect. Why are you people even hacking your ps3s if you can't read/follow the advice of the developer of the firmware your running??? Just go to kmeaw's cfw, it's the only one that is and will be supported by all devs of 3.55 homebrew.

do auto-fix permissions means that i dont have to run pl3 fix permissions after every game i install and the auto-fix permissions will do it automatically ???
