Rogero well known for his Rogero Manager is back and has released an update to his custom firmware. Included in this custom firmware - Kmeaw’s LV1 patch, FW 3.72 Spoof, a Privacy Patch and Dospiedras’s LV1 No-Check patches.

To Quote: (Roughly translated)

Rogero is back to give us an update of the CFW that we presented in this news . If you are too lazy to read it, here's a summary of the features of this custom firmware. You should know that it was created at the beginning to correct the problem trophies was going after a downgrade hardware Method Dospiedras v2 (with a chip programmer like Progskeet). Rogero was not happy about it and had also added the patch and Privacy lv1 checks patched to bypass the syscon 3.56 +. And today is the spoof 3.72 found in this newly created CFW.

Not pointless, just another solution about downgrade. I thought long ago we dont need a new CFW, we need just the key´s to make the software work aka eboots

Absolutely NOT another pointless CFW release.
It is an update to an already good backup manager.

Personally, I rarely use Rogero, but unless I had the ability to develop a better CFW I wouldn't have the balls to call something like this pointless.

Does it get you onto PSN????
No.

Does it allow you to pirate your precious newer games that require newer firmware????
No.

That is why you either go with OFW and stop whining about it or add another PS3 to the gaming console stable and use that one for the newest releases and PSN.

I use backups all the time.
I can also pull the original disc off the shelf (of ANY of my backups) anytime I want/need to.
How does that make me "make this world a shit hole"?
I am very much against piracy (as to why the undertone of sarcasm in my statement about it ).

You are very right, not everyone can afford a second PS3. That is where you have to make a decision, play your legitimate backups (or for the pirates......your illegal games) and enjoy all of the homebrew available................or............update the machine to the newest OFW and enjoy PSN and all that OFW offers up.

I just think it is sad that people do not appreciate the work that the developers give out free.

Sarcasm can be hard to see through text sometimes, so I do apologise for not seeing it.

But yeah, I do appreciate the work devs do. Just a shame that on almost every news article people say "I want 3.6+ CFW."

JFW should allow newer backups to play anyway which is good for me because I yarrr *coughs* I mean I scratch discs.

No need for an apology on the sarcasm bit........you are right. It can be hard to put sarcasm into words sometimes. I should've worded it a bit differently maybe.

ENTIRELY correct on the 3.6 deal!!!!!!
That just annoys the hell out of me.

I have one of the E3 flashers on order so I might be able to dual boot..........just found out that it may actually not work with the NAND chip though. Hopefully it will with a bit of soldering.
That would allow pretty much anything you want (almost a "have your cake and eat it too" scenario).

Just bouncing, seeing what's new that I deem "important in my eyes". So far I've seen a few articles that have caught my attention.

This one did because I was curious what Rogero had added and/or tweaked, even though I used the backup manger once and removed it.

So far like others, seems like spoof adds, lv1&2 patches auto applied so they don't have to be done later. Trophy fixes and downgrade fixes seem to be new. Glad I haven't and don't plan on running into that beast! lol

...and I have got to figure out why I can't hit 'enter' to space things into a new line without going back and editing.

If you reply to "Front Page News" you have to edit and add the returns.
If you go to the Forum section and reply in the "Latest News" it will keep your returns intact and the spacing will be correct.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.

Actually, no. It does not downgrade.
For that, you will want to look int Progskeet or the upcoming E3 flasher.
You should be able to search on those and come up with plenty of info.

What firmware are you running right now?
What is the model of your console?

you know before people comment on anything they should know what they are commenting on this is a CFW built on a KMEAW base, it is needed to fix the trophy error when you have used a Nand/Nor flasher to downgrade from 3.56+ OFW, this is hardly useless!! So seeing as you're already on 3.55 this might be of no need to you but you are far from the only one in this world!!

I see alot of others CFW 3.55, here is my question, Spooffed 3.72 what that mean? That mean if i am 3.72 with console to downgrade to 3.55 that dont make risk to downgrade? I have some original games and I thinking about going PSN on OFW, when I get tired I go again CFW, If someone can explain that, or if thats possible to make ^^ (Mean pirate games)

if you're on OFW above 3.56 the only way to downgrade would be hardware (Nand/Nor flasher) no exception. This is just the CFW you'll use in conjunction with the hardware to downgrade (the spoof is only to prevent upgrading again by accident)
