The IIchan Eroge Team have released RenPSP 0.2. RenPSP is a PSP homebrew clone of the cross-platform visual novel engine Ren'Py and is based on LuaPlayer Euphoria v8. RenPy is a visual novel engine that has lots of games based on it. RenPSP is RenPy's clone for PSP, and supports RenPy's scripts with minimal changes. If you are using v1.0, it is recommended to update.

About NAME:

RenPSP 0.2 a PSP homebrew has been released just a few hours ago to the PSP homebrew community . This is a updated version of a clone of the cross-platform visual novel engine Ren’Py for the PSP system that are able to run homebrew on their PSP System , This cool Engine known as RenPSP 0.2 will lets users run lots of games based on it. RenPSP is RenPy clone for PSP that supports RenPy scripts with minimal changes.

So if you are using the 2 year old version of RenPSP on your PSP , Then you will want to go ahead and download the latest version which is now RenPSP 0.2 made available not too long ago to the PSP Homebrew community . This version is a bit more stable then previous version and should offer a bit more compatibility with the latest PSP Custom Firmware and HBL for PSP System . I gotta admit I was lost as to what this actually does. People might want to check out this page to get an idea. Navigate using the buttons on the left side of the page to get a good idea of what's available

That's what I plan on doing. Hopefully it's better than the Ren Py emulator for Android, since KS won't work on it.

There is Katawa Shoujo in the 0.2 release. Just look for "ks_alpha" and hope it runs.

EDIT: Katawa Shoujo script reaches only up to Act 1 Monday

Not quite simple as plopping in scripts from actual Ren'Py games. Mind you, this is still a Lua-based visual novel engine homebrew app. It has its limitations.

Been there, done that, open PSP > GAME > RenPSP > games > ks_alpha > game and my files are there. Trust me, don't simply place the files and scripts there. The engine has no idea where to start.

Read PSP > GAME > RenPSP > renpsp > help(dot)txt first for more info. (my name's there too )

Ah, I actually extracted the files from the completed game, but don't have the knowledge or the patience to get it working with RenPSP.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, and thanks for contributing to this project, I know I'll enjoy the Alpha version of KS on my PSP during my daily commute (obviously not the portion while I'm driving...).
