Release - Showtime Plugin: Youtube v1.2

Some time has passed since facanferff released version 1.0.1 of Youtube plugin for Showtime and more recently (to be more detailed, yesterday) andoma (the official programmer of Showtime) added support to some new things. Because of that facanferff decided to update its plugin to be more powerful, with this said let's see the changelog for this version, please take a look at the info in bold:

Add: Setting to enable/disable user actions
Add: User Actions: Like/Dislike videos, add to favorites, create comment, add contact, add to watch later playlist, add subscription (User and Channel)
Add: Default folder of feeds have now logos
Enhancement: Remove Debug setting
Enhancement: Cleanup Video page in Advanced mode (should be faster now)
Fix: If Related/Response feeds were empty would get an error

Install to the USRDIR/settings/installedplugins/ folder in Showtime directory

i have 2 questions. 1: why not use the ps3 browser for watching youtube vids? 2: is this plugin for the official showtime or the unofficial one?

The Flash Player on the PS3 is so old, I don't think you can even use Youtube on it.

I believe the higest output you can get is 720 this allows 1080

1. Because the youtube on the ps3 browser is very crappy and is not HD like the showtime youtube.
2. It will work for both. The "unofficial" version is compiled from the official GIT unchanged, redsquirrel87 just releases it while it's still under development so you don't have to wait for the official release.

@facanferff IS it possible for us to search which vids we wanna see? I would like to view SC2 replays, but...havent found a way to search for the author. Regards Robert

Yes it is, to search for videos you need to write what you want in the search box in homepage of showtime, for searching for a user, in that same search box write:

youtube:user:<name of user>
e.g.:
youtube:user:Playstation

Note: A virtual keyboard is still not present, it has to be added on Showtime itself.

Yea noted, I cannot write in showtime, so I add the virt keyboard myself then?

Without a external keyboard you can't write to Showtime...

Ok bad news for me then :/

No possibility to implent a virtual keybord in Showtime as Sony do for XMB and such?

there is a PSL1ght open source onscreen keyboard available, it just needs to be implemented

Yes but why use a new one when we may use the Sony's? In the near future it may be added.

I just thought Showtime was was PSL1GHT not $0ny's SDK

Showtime is PSL1GHT but if you see attently many of the features of PSL1GHT were taken from $0ny's SDK via NPIDS, it may do the same thing.
