Rebug Team Member EvilSperm Confirms PSN Will be Back for CFW

In what has shaped up to be a rather slow news day (unless you consider the countless fake April Fools stories floating around), EvilSperm from Team Rebug has confirmed some interesting news. He stated that although his team is not working on restoring PSN access to CFW users, other devs behind the scenes are indeed working to restore it. It is reassuring to know that talented devs are working on what some users consider very important.

For the people asking if this will enable retail PSN, it will not so don’t ask again

People are working on retail PSN support but we will not be. I feel as many others that CFW and PSN should not be mixed what so ever. You do however have access to the sp-int and prod-qa networks but for how long no one knows. Some games will work on those networks as long as others are on them as well, so if there are a few thousand people using rebug on sp-int and all playing the same game you just might be able to play each other but this is no guarantee. I can tell you 100% without a doubt that everyone will abuse the sp-int network and $ony will patch it within a week, it will also really piss off the people with TEST units they got from other channels because then they will be **** out of luck trying to get on those networks, so PLEASE do not abuse sp-int!

************... i hate when cheaters play online on retail PSN. i have no problem with the rebug online pay though. if people want to play online, do it on the debug servers.
only cheaters go on debug so it would be funner for cheaters. But PLEASE don't release this.

EDIT: add CountSpatula on the debug server if you want to play against me

many people are probably waiting until tomoz to release hacks because some nubs scream APRIL FOOLS as soon as something is released on april 1st

It makes sense not to include PSN access on CFW support. Adding such access could put the developers in a tight spot come subpoena time. And just to note...mathieulh (possibly spelled wrong) says all we have to do is change a small part of fu(kPSN. How long does it take to reverse engineer an IP packet anyway? "Wireshark + ruby" should equal win...but I have no idea how to write ruby applications, only simple VB scripts. Well, enough of my crying. Thanks for the daily update grandy. Some folks just like to stay informed.

Well the only one being extremely selfish right here is U, not becaus u wasted ur money buying 3 consoles, and dont want to feel bad about doing that (discouraging release of multiboot/psn). Well the thing is :! some people have bigger breains and less amount of money they dont want to go buying 3 consoles! So they are desperate to play online and waiting a release from the hard working hackers! However these people are not to complain since they are the ones who chosen not to update- so these people must wait the kind hard working hakers to release something- and if nothing is released they are not to complain.

Turkish, you are speaking the obvious.. Legal or not, the finest option to get back on the PSN is to have either 2 ps3's, or duo-boot 1 PS3 --> .5 CFW and .5 OFW.. As its been recently suggested, I am sure its only a matter of time for the devs to find this compromise.. I mean, its a horrible economy today.. Might as well save as much $$ as you can..

my comment about having 3 ps3s was irrelevant, any cheater that wants to play online already can with the debug "sp-int" server using rebug cfw.

i just want to play online damn it! just cause i have a hacked system im a cheater is what your saying???? thats fukin garbage!

i have a dream one day CFW users and OFW users will play together peacefully lol
