Well, it is that time again. Sony has recently updated their OFW to 3.70, and Codename: Rebug follows up with their own release, the infamous 3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0. This application for your modified console, prevents your PS3 from accidentally updating. When you try to update your system, it will tell you that you already have the latest firmware version installed. This will NOT WORK on Rebug Firmware. This does NOT allow for PSN use, or 3.70 backups use! Use with caution! For those of you on Rebug Firmware, find the latest updates here.

3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0 is available for 3.41 and 3.55 firmware and is much faster and safer to use than the previous version spoofers. It works like the Rebug Selector and backs up your current files before activating the spoof, then auto reboots leaving no room for end-user error.

INSTALL:
Press L1+CROSS to INSTALL 3.70 Version Spoof files to your PS3

ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE:
Press L1+CROSS to ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE (System will reboot)

UNINSTALL:
Press L1+CIRCLE to UNINSTALL (this will deactivate the spoofer, remove the spoof files from dev_flash and reboot if needed)

I dont understand?!?!Why wont this work on Rebug firmware if it was made by the people who produce for there own firmware?

...Have a look at the update package for rebug. Or next time just READ and you will see that one is for CFW only and the other for Rebug only.

because REBUG uses a debug vsh.self, all other CFW use a retail (OFW) vsh.self (vsh.self= the file that needs to be patch with the build numbers)

I read it perfectly but Sorry i didn't know Rebug was set apart from the other Custom firmware out thereRebug - 3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0

If I have the 3.66 spoof, will I have to first desactivate and then unistall it, and then install this 3.70 spoofer?

Yes you have to uninstall the spoof if you want to change to another spoof or change firmwares.

also stuff like the data transfer utility will work even if only one PS3 is on the recent OFW

and i dont think any difference between Cobra CFW 3.55 and Kmeaw 3.55 i think they are the same except the cobra usb dongle has some other features

it did it to me all day yesterday (always deleted the second one), on the subject YES the spoofer works on CobraUSB CFW, witch is odd because the PS3MFW builder spoofer.tcl didn't

Hey I jus wanna ask if I can play new games like Uncharted 3 with this spoof.. I'm not talking about backup but if I buy the game will I be able to play the game with this spoof..?
