ReActPSN v2.22 Released

Chinese developer eid0dex1 has released an update to ReActPSN. With this release added support includes CEX and DEX switching within eight seconds. The translate is a bit iffy and this method is not tested on 256MB NAND consoles. Since it will mess with you PlayStation 3's flash I would advise that you hold back until someone with a hardware flasher has tested this. Further details can be found below.

About ReActPSN v2.22: (Rough translate)

Add new type NP KEY to Triangle fix mode: 0x4,0x6,0xA,***,***(3.60)
ReActPSN v2.22 CEX2DEX DEX2CEX (untested 256M NAND FLASH)
You need to be on 3.55 with peek and poke patches to switch between CEX and DEX.
Run reActPSNv2.22 and keep pressed BUTTON_RIGHT about 8s, auto reboot.
Then you must Do system update to DEX3.55 or CEX3.55!
Dump and Backup PS3 FLASH first.
Test it on 3.55K and Itskamel's 3.55 DEX more than 50 times, all is ok.

The triangle button to crack the mode new 0x4, 0x7, 0xA,***,*** the NP KEY support previous versions only support 0x1 type of the NP KEY.
Retail machine reActPSN v2.22 and development of machines, a key conversion
Before using this feature, please backup your FLASH!
All work on the 3.55CFW and peek & poke DEX3.55 firmware.
Run reActPSN and continued to press the right arrow key about 8 seconds, the machine automatically restart after a successful conversion.
Retail machine can be converted to a development machine, development machine can also be converted into a retail machine.
Please upgrade to DEX3.55 or 3.55CFW.
256M NAND FLASH models untested 16M models to test the more than 50 times occasionally crash, but no brick.
Please have the FLASHER tools first try, there are a lot of success without brick report the average user to use this feature.

Answer the questions below concerning reActPSN used in DEX v2.22:
patch 2.0 features have VSH 2.1 features theoretically available in the crack OFW. of DEX some folder write permissions too low, no effect on not tested. 2.2 features should be able to peek and poke) 3.55

Ok this might seem like a stupid question but what is this update for? Not sure what CEX and DEX are. Sorry i seem really stupid

The major new feature is to help you switch from a retail ps3 to a debug one.

so i can i install this with rogero dex fw, does rogero accept retail patches?and to swith within 8 seconds do you have to be on 3.55 dex?

After starting react psn and holding the right button, started to happen peeps. PS3 run. For 8 peeps and off. What should I do?

This only works if you have already installed DEX. THIS WILL NOT INSTALL DEX FOR YOU.

Anyone know if reActPSN can be used to activate Tiger Woods 13 1 Hour Trial to be the Full Game?

I have 2 ps3's one is OFW with Playstation Plus & the other on CFW Rebug 3.55.2. I used PSN Download Manger to get the link for the TW Trial PKG. Then installed on CFW PS3 but it asks to sign in to get license, can reActPSN be used to make this a full game on my CFW PS3?

@All Aelcido Is correct. You have to convert you PS3 to DEX first before using this.

yo my SLIM with NOR was on Rogero DEX 3.55 and wanted 2 switch with Rogero CEX 3.56 cause my purchased PSN games gave me error on DEX and now have same problem:

fixed it after few hours of browsin via my old teensy with Factory mode payload but it formats HDD and at least i have biggest backups on BD-Rs so only harm is bought PSN titles

anyway was goin 2 get rid of multiplatforms cause i play em on my gamin book with better quality so must get only few console exclusives again, i dont care about trophies & saves

I tried that but it kept failing when trying to install the firmware then while installing my progskeet I caught a wire and pulled off point A2.

After using this, update via internet option is disabled with a gray color and i can’t reinstall CFW! In place, i can install DEX CFW. What should i do?
