PSXperia: Converts any PSX game to work on Xperia Play

It seems that the XPeria play is not being neglected as developers have shown an interest in the new phone that was developed by Sony. After a lot of hard work the end result is the ability to convert any PSX game so it is compatible with the XPeria Play. More information can be viewed at the source. After two hard weeks of decompiling, reverse engineering, graphing, and coding, I’m proud to announce PSXperia, a set of tools to extract, patch, and repack the Crash Bandicoot game that comes with all Xperia Play phones to use any PSX game (that you legally own). In addition to allowing you to play any property ripped PSX game, you can also set a custom icon and the game will show up in the phone’s Playstation Pocket app, so you can quickly access it when you flip the gamepad out. I’ve converted and tested 8 games with this tool and they all run flawlessly, but if things don’t work out so smoothly for you, submit your issues to GitHub.

Cool, I suppose multi disc games are not fully playable?

Well i am sure it's just like with the PSP when it first started with converting PSX to PSP format where you can just change the next CD of the game's ID to the first and load it so you can play Multi disc games.

People for a long time would be upset that multi CD support did not come out in psx2psp program till version 1.4 but in reality it was supported if you just changed the games ID to the first CD etc ect for each CD. but then again i am not sure if that's the same with this I don't have a Xperia so i can't test it.

I have a Xperia play. Its a great gadget. This will help me with my old psx collection. Can play the games my ps3 can't. Is there anything else I can do to the play (ie, jailbreak)?

I'm running it on windows 7 ultimate x64. and after checking all four boxes can't do anything. the extract tab is still grayed out.

just letting people know. Someone else might get the same problem.

Running the same version of windows as you, but the problem is that you must also highlight his name in the text after checking all four boxes to continue.

Sweet, I am still waiting for a PSX-PS2 dumper for multiMAN so I can put them on my Internal HDD. Anyone know the status of this?
