UPDATE: PSoN DEX - PSN For DEX Users Without FckPSN

UPDATE: Following yesterdays release. Here is an update that makes this work 100%. Following a previous release of PSoN, comes an update from the Italian PS3ITA developers. PSoN DEX now allows those with DEX consoles the ability to connect to PSN without the need of other software such as FckPSN. Please note that at the time of writing, I did not see any confirmation that this indeed works.

About PSoN DEX:

Fresh news.. now thanks to itskamel you can access the store without FckPSN with a PS3 CEX.

Thanks to his work (and that of the people who helped him) we were able to develop a version for PS3 DEX.

Requirements: PS3 Debug (DEX) upright any CFW 3.55

Install "PSoN_DEX" on your PS3 DEX
Start "PSoN_DEX" and wait for the reboot of the console
Install "Change_IDPS" on PS3
Run "Change_IDPS"
Connect to PSN

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Change_IDPS must be started after every reboot of the console before groped access to the PSN (if you do not get an error: 8002A224)
Check in the debug menu settings (it's under Network Settings), the NP Environment setting is set as NP (not SP-INT)
L 'IDPS is set as European (0 x 85)

UPDATE:

Download: NEW - CHANGE IDPS.PKG

Start with downgrade.pup (just to clean and make a fresh start!)
I installed the itskamel dex 3.55 pup (I believe its names NewItskamel.pup or something)
Run the Psit_PsOn_dex.pkg
Run the Change_Idps_retail_usa.pkg
SIGN INTO THE BOBBING PSN

I'm not on DEX so I can't be of much help.

hmm I will try to have the auto sign in turn off as the minute I turn on the system it signs in.....will report back..thanks Tranced!

for the time being it can't work on 4.21 because there is no homebrew available on ANY dex firmwire other than 3.55

yo i also get 8002A224 without running Change_IDPS and 8002A227 if i run it, but what is worse PSID patch aint workin with this and also F*PSN gives me 80710A06 now so is there any way to remove PSoN without DEX reinstall plz?

Yes there is a PSoN_Dex uninstall.pkg its on the source page.

The source has updated his change idps to a retail usa one.... but I had already updated to dex 4.21 to play some shank 2 to relieve some frustration.lol I am in the process of downgrading and testing

It works fine. Don't know why you would want to access the store though unless you just want to download previously downloaded/already activated content. If only I could activate things I could play my legally purchased copy of Odin Sphere

i am on dex 3.55 and i can login ,,and the first 2 days i cud play like S X T and KOF 13 online but since yesterday when i want to go online my ps3 says that i must do a system update before i can play but why??? and i get this message while i am still login or when i want to play online on the game
